We both tested negative this morning, so now it's time to over pack!

Just want to add to the best wishes that are going your way.  Please let others who are coming out of quarantine know that your journey has impacted a lot of us, from many places we call home.  I feel better prepared to make our choices because of the experiences you have shared with us.  I'm sure you will be long gone from the pier in San Diego by the time we arrive to check in on Wednesday, but you will definitely be in my thoughts because of this connection.  If you don't mind, please post a picture of your dinner at Tamarind.  I hope it exceeds your expectations, and it better be HOT!!!

Where is the ship sailing to next?  I am also curious if you have eaten at Tamarind before, and what you plan to order Saturday night. Are you near cabin 5191?  How the ride is back there?  I am glad you are enjoying the dialogue on this blog, but please know it's helping with our anxiety as well by sharing your experiences with all of us!

Just finished reading all the posts in one sitting.  You really do seem like a great trouper, and finding the positives when you can.  We are hoping to board your ship next Wednesday, and I think our cabin 5191 is one of the isolation cabins on your cruise.  Thanks for demystifying what can happen if one of us tests positive on board.  In the early days of COVID, people in some cities would go out on their balconies at at set time, say 6 pm, and sing.  I'm guessing not everyone would embrace that idea.  What are you looking forward to most on day 12?

Our Hawaiian Santa is doing well, but back in hibernation until next season.  He was disappointed when our December cruise to Hawaii was cancelled, we had promised to take him along with us.

since we were in the deposit phase, they are refunding everyone to their original payment method. No FCC talked about at all. The original 25% is still showing on our account.

We can relate, booked over a year ago, on the Encore to Bermuda for May 17th for my birthday.  We followed the building progress of the Encore from day 1 with excitement.  My sister was coming from Germany, we had tickets for Hamilton and Moulin Rouge (her first visit to NYC).  We also booked a Haven (2-bedroom) for the first time as a splurge!  Don't know why NCL is not in line with the other major cruise lines.  NCL is still showing a start date of May 15.  We went ahead and booked the same cruise on the Joy for next May.  One more year to build anticipation.

We are looking forward to getting onboard and seeing the changes they have made.  Have there been any pictures or video release from the work being done in dry-dock?

We've never stayed in the Haven before, but we splurged for this cruise.  It looks like it was good timing to do so.  But it's a one time treat for my sister's first cruise.

Just started following this, and wanted to compliment you on your CC name!  Big White Star fan here!  We booked on Encore for May 17, 2020.  It will be our first time in the Haven.

Did anyone get double cruise points for this cruise?  We got 15, but I thought we were going to get 30.

We had a wonderful time as well.  We also agree that the Getaway looks great and the crew on board were fun to get to know.

2 medical emergencies and now confining passengers to their cabins and not docking!  My mind is going to a dark place.  I hope I’m wrong.

But our drink packages will work in NYC, right?

We just called NCL, and they expect more information to be available in the next few hours.  Their phone lines are open till midnight ET.  We’re curious about how late we can arrive.  We might try to see another show!
