  1. @Ferry_WatcherIt’s on the menu on the app! It looks promising. 😁
  2. I didn’t see that on the dessert menu, but I didn’t really look. We’ll probably be back so I’ll check!
  3. Then we ordered two rolls and shared. The Alaskan California roll. I don’t usually enjoy a California roll, but Mark wanted to try this one. I have to say, all of the ingredients tasted very fresh. I liked it a lot. My pick was the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura roll. Mmmmmmm. We agreed that the Spicy Tuna and Shrimp was more flavorful, but the Alaskan California roll was surprisingly good.
  4. Stayed after Brent’s lecture and listened to Miss Mary Amanda’s introduction to Ketchikan. Then realized we were both pretty hungry. We love Sushi on 5 for lunch in a sea day. But apparently so do a lot of other people. It was really busy! But so, so good. 😊 We started with a shared appetizer of Chicken Ginger Gyoza.
  5. Getting ready to see Brent Nixon’s welcome presentation. Bonus points if you know how to pronounce this word and what it means. 😊 How many Brent Nixon fans do we have in the audience?
  6. The fog is slowly starting to let up, but it’s still very gray. Seas are quite calm and there is very little ship movement this morning. We are currently sitting in the Sky Observation Lounge watching the sea sail by. We have seen a small pod of dolphins, but those little guys are quick!! I didn’t get a good picture of them.
  7. I haven’t had that one before, but I intend to try it!
  8. Now we are back at the coffee nook and enjoying our second cup. The Café al Bacio menu
  9. Woke up to lots of fog and a little bit of rain. They have closed all of the outer decks for now. Grabbed a CafĂ© al Bacio coffe and headed to the buffet for breakfast. Please. Please have more patience than I did this morning and just wait at the cooked-to -order omelet station. The scrambled eggs in the pan on the hot station are from a mix. And that’s exactly what they taste like.
  10. So far we haven’t felt a lot of movement. You can feel the bow of the ship gently bobbing up and down, but the waves haven’t been high enough to make that movement terribly noticeable. I’ll let you know if it gets worse. (I kind of like it though, so
)
  11. Thanks for this information! Yum. I’ll let him know!
  12. Well. Since you twisted my arm. 😁 I’ll definitely put that one on the list. Yay for a premium beverage package. 😂
  13. Are there any suites available for your cruise? When you do a mock booking, is there any suite available? If it means that much to you, it might be worth just calling your TA and upgrading. Bypass the Move Up system altogether.
  14. Lol! Thanks! 😁 Mark just rolled his eyes and said he thinks you’re being generous. I told him he has an OBLIGATION to contribute more to my photos. Cruise Critic is COUNTING on him. That man just doesn’t understand.
  15. We were going to go to the 9:00pm show. Tonight it is a comedian. But we finished our drinks and it was already 9:25. We decided to head back to the cabin to chill for tonight. Tomorrow is our first sea day. We are looking forward to relaxing and exploring the ship! 😁 Nighty-night everyone! P.S. Don’t forget to grab a couple of bottles of water at the end of the evening to take back to the cabin. The mini-bar is not included in the regular classic/premium package. Now you “Drinks & More” people? You guys go crazy.
  16. Stopped by the Martini bar again after dinner. It was SO busy. Tons of fun though. Mark had another Captain & Coke. (If it ain’t broke
) I tried the 25th Anniversary Martini. It was good, but just a little sweeter than I like. The strawberry purée was a nice touch!
  17. Dessert!! The Sacher Torte. Mark had the mango sorbet. It was not interesting enough to warrant a photo. Mark really needs to step up his dessert game if he’s going to hang with me. He has been warned.
  18. Entrees. I had the beef stroganoff. It was better than I expected. And Mark had the salmon. He said it was cooked just right. The stroganoff had pieces of pickled cabbage that were delicious. Really. So good. Mark would have like more broccoli, but the salmon was cooked perfectly.
  19. Appetizers. Spinach Turnover and French onion soup
  20. We have early dining which means we eat at 6:00pm. We are at a table for two at the absolute farthest corner from the entry doors. We are seated next to a fun couple from South Carolina and dinner was a blast. Tonight’s menu And posted at the entry to the Deck 3 dining room.
  21. Thanks! So far, the ship seems to be in great shape.
  22. So the day started off gray and gloomy, but it was downright pleasant by sail away! Goodbye Seattle! See you in a week.
