No sound at all, what a shame. Part of the fun of waiting for the sailaways is listening to the harbour master radio broadcasts.

I agree. Twitter has changed its algorithms so I can't even see my tweet on their feed or mine so no idea if they saw it.

Looks like a great day in Fort Lauderdale though.

There is no mention of a problem on their Twitter feed. There is a notice that it is time for Sail Away and to check what's on. If I had a Twitter account, I'd reply with Not the Sound!

I see on vesselfinder that Koningsdam is finally underway! Bon voyage and thanks for all of the pictures! Cabin looks fabulous and oddly I really love the carpeting in the dining room. Happy sails!

Usually at Sint Maarten, our Dam ships are hidden behind all the over-sized travelling amusement parks. This is a really great view of this pretty lady. Thanks for the heads-up. :D

I agree, the huge ships are just so ugly and awkward-looking. Maasdam has a classic look that I find appealing. Anthem was the ship that was involved in the hurricane cruise from hell in February or thereabouts, was it not?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes watching the sailaways! I only discovered the Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale webcams about a week ago; was watching on vesselfinder before. Unfortunately probably won't be able to see Maasdam tomorrow but watched her go through the Panama Canal the other day. Sailing on Maasdam myself on 6/6.

My mother and I are sailing on Maasdam June 6, 2016 - 14 day Alaska Great Land Explorer. My first HAL cruise, mum's second. Can't wait! :rolleyes:
