  1. Here's some helpful things since you are new (I wish I knew this my first cruise).

-pack a variety of outfits...casual to formal...there are some formal nights for the dining hall if you choose to go.

-when you pack your luggage, in your carry on (keep with you even when you are going to the ship. let them take your checked luggage only). pack a swim suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc, Rooms aren't ready until early afternoon so you'll have to just walk around or most people will just hang out at the pool before/after lunch.

-call and double check your timed dining options so you know what to do when you on on the ship

-always keep some cash with your for when you venture off the ship and to leave for your stateroom attendant on your last day

-go to as many shows as you can...take advantage of it...but also keep time to just relax!

  2. I went on Enchantment last May (3 day trip). It's a nice smaller ship to be on. I did have one day at sea which was nice to relax. Since you don't have any days at sea, you won't be on it as much. During the day, you'll probably be off the ship so you don't have to worry about getting chairs by the pool.

In the evenings, they had great shows. My favorites are any comedians they have on ship and love and marriage game show (you don't have to be a couple to go and watch..I'm always cruising with friends). It's hilarious. They always have a 70's theme night which is fun---great music to dance to. Some crew dress as the village people.

I love the windjammer food (buffet) for each meal. I rarely go to the main dining hall.

Since you are going during Spring Break...you will see rowdy people...but you can't blame them. They are just having a good time!

  3. This will be my 4th cruise with Royal Caribbean. I've been on the smaller ships so I'm excited for a slightly larger ship with the Liberty of the Seas (I know it's not the biggest). Here are a few questions.

    1. I would like to take advantage of the workout groups on ship. I'm interested in the full body conditioning and the body sculpt boot camp. Anyone know what these classes are like and how much are they?

    2. Sadly, I've just ate at the windjammer because we could never figure out when we go to the dining hall (we would go during our assigned times on our card and they said that it wasn't our time or we would try to call to reserve seating and there would be no answer). I see there's more then one free dining hall on ship (correct me if I'm wrong). a-How do you book a time? We are usually out on excursions during the time you need to call and reserve. do you just show up? b-what are the dining halls like?

    3. One place we are going is Roatan Hondurus. What are good excursions? I might have to go alone on this one.

    4. Lastly, the cupcake shop. Are classes for adults? I don't see anything on our cruise planner with reserving classes? How do you do so? How much money?

    Thanks!! =):):)

  4. I'm also vegetarian (no meat, no seafood...but I do eat dairy products). I always find food to eat, especially at the Windjammer (buffet). They offer different things (and some same things) each day. I've had pasta, made myself veggie tacos, fajitas, veggie pot pie, etc. At the dining rooms, you can always ask for something that meet your needs...they will do everything to help you out. They are more than helpful! Enjoy!
