Just got off the Indy after a very enjoyable transatlantic. Only one of the 4 scrubbers has been fitted the work is ongoing but has no impact on the sailing, still a fair bit of soot on my aft cabin balcony daily. We heard on board that the cupcake shop is going to be changed into a pie shop for the UK market, could someone let me know if this is true.

I am currently on the Indy crossing the Atlantic and loving it. Booked the Legend for the The best of India and Srilanka 2017 am I in for a culture shock with the size of the ship, any hints and tips for the Legend.

Wetting my appetite joining the the Indi' for a TA on the 1st May, counting the sleeps to departure.

Be careful with taxis it took me and my wife 1/2 hour to find a taxi from the Hermitage back to the dock, no English spoken at all by drivers. We got a Russian speaking crew member to write down the port details. The taxi ride back was interesting in a 20 year old Lada with a missing window and the driver stroking his half hidden hand gun the whole journey back. But we lived and didn't miss our ship's departure; all part of the fun of travel.

Fly out the earliest holiday entitlement and cash permitting. Barcelona is a fantastic city to visit spend a day eating world class Tapas and drinking wine without any stress or worry about missing the ship.

Hi just a little point of interest for you Americans out there. Europe isn't a country it's a continent with stable and unstable countries within, I detect a misplaced fear that we have over here bombers on every corner and jihadists on every street corner. Thankfully I can report this is not the case. Statistically you are more likely to be killed back over in America in your monthly school massacres. On a much happier note I am heading over to the U S of A to board the Independence transatlantic back home in 5 weeks time. Any tips for a night out in Fort Lauderdale.
