Are you still waiting? Saw some accepted on same day sailing but I’ve not heard anything for 30/02 encore - still pending…

we got our upgrade 2 days ago and we are sailing on the 29th on the dawn. it is a 11 day cruise and we bid 120 each for the balcony. we were in an inside. we got the middle of the ship on deck 9. very happy.

On a beer or fixed drink maybe. On the other hand, It has been known to increase your drink potency for mixed drinks; and if you are getting drinks via bar runners, they will not let your drink get empty if you are tipping cash. Just sayin.

You are right on! Tip the bar runner an extra buck and when they see you, they know what you want and it will be delivered before you ask! And same for a certain bar tender that you like.

  3. we were on the elation in october. the good wife and i gambled some. she it a 1000 points and me, a measley  600 points. well when we got home the e_mails started to come in. we both got the offers. hers was a little better because of her points.

we booked a 8 day on the magic. we up graded  to a cove balcony and the price was $1205.00. that is with the tips and insurance. i thinkit is a great price. we also got the dou while in the casino.

I REALLY wanted the booster before the cruise, but was skeptical of it producing a possible false positive for our COVID test (I doubt it would have- just being paranoid!). I did the eMed test at 7am on Thursday morning, COVID booster at noon, tired and sore on Friday and boarded (feeling great!) on Saturday!

I got my booster shot this past monday. i got a sinus infection the next day. went to the clinic and they tested me for covid and guess what? i have the covid. i am free again after thursday.

I'm sorry if there is already a thread on this, but the search the forum feature seems to have disappeared 😞

To my question - I have been trying to call Carnival since like Saturday morning and get the standard 'we're busy please hold', which I have no problem with and am willing to hold as long as needed. BUT about 15 seconds later it comes up with 'the system is having technical difficulties. please call back later" and then disconnects me!

Is anyone else having this problem?  I also got a Vax Attestation for a cruise in February of next year, which I find a bit odd. The other option is that it is for my canceled Horizon cruise in December, but they tell you if you don't reply in 48 hours the world ends. And it's not in my 'things to do' section of my upcoming Feb. cruise. I am flumoxed.

Just happened to us 5 minutes ago. technical difficulties.

so no smoking on your balcony? especially with those petitions I wouldn't want it to waft over?

But, you will still smell smoke from balconys. I have smell it every time we have had a balcony. they  really need their fix to do this.  these people do not think it is dangerous to smoke on their balconys. Sorry, had to chime in but the smoke goes every where.

Anybody have any first hand experience with  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa East Ybor City.   Reviews seem good.   They have a stay/cruise package including 14 days of parking.  Is this a safe place to leave a car for 2 weeks?

stay there before the cruise shut down. very nice hotel and we will be staying there jan. 22. it has a good breakfast and the shuttle to the port runs every hour. you will like it there.

It does happen.  Only 2 ships can dock at the pier that NCL uses.  If a third shows up that uses that pier, they tender.  Having said that, it could be incorrect information you are looking as it might be unclear what ships will actually be there at that time.  So they may be using "tender" as a placeholder.

    Thank you for your reply.

It said 14 days in the first post. I would assume that's 14 days After your second dose if you get the 2 shot vaccine.

Nobody knows right now how long the vaccine will protect you. 6 Months, a year, two???

Those in the studies are going on about 6 months now

We take the flu shots every year, so why not the vaccine shot every year?

Just to clarify....on day 1, from the time you get on board until the time you hit international waters around 700 pm or so, you will be charged taxes at the state rate of your embarkation port per drink.  On top of that, if you stop at any US ports such as Key West, Port Canaveral or San Juan, you'll pay tax on a per drink basis.

how can you pay taxes on something that is free?

  11. we got the offer and we already had 2 cruises booked. 2 5 day b2b. we put the drink package on both and only paid 40 more dollars for both. i do not know how they figure the up charge on these cruises. But, i had to pay 198 more dollars for the deposit. it is non refundable and if we had to cancel we will be out all of the deposit.

We are booked on the Jade out of Tampa for the 12 day Southern Caribbean, departing Jan 3 2021. Haven't heard anything yet, but I don't see how it will sail. I do wish  they would cancel it earlier than later too, but gotta go with the flow, I guess. I will keep checking the boards here too, in case I don't get an email! Can't believe they didn't send one to you!!

We are also booked on this cruise. Just paid it off last week. I do hope it goes because it is a great itin.

they will hang on to the money as long as they can.
