We just got off of her this morning. Second time on Grandeur with a third one booked. The weather sucked thanks to Jose but the cruise was fantastic. We had such a good time.
We did the sushi making class up in Izumi. What a riot that was. If you like sushi, DO IT!!! You won't go away hungry.

Hoping Jose doesn't get in the way.

Now that we're through a good portion of the season. Just looking for any reviews from anyone who did this. Tips? Do's and Don't's, etc.

I agree with going to Penn station. The road to the BWI can be crazy. Being she'll be going into New York Penn, I would imagine she would need a really early train. Coming out of DC, delays are normal.

I guarantee, if it's a weekday and you're going to try to go through downtown and up Charles St to Penn Station in the height of rush hour, you'll be wishing you went to BWI. Think about it, most traffic is headed north into the city, your heading south. Parking is so much easier at BWI.

Easiest Amtrak stop would probably be the BWI station (the one in Baltimore would have s lot of traffic - BWI is maybe 15 minutes away to the south). As for getting off the ship, it should be relatively quick if you're carrying your own luggage. The only unknowns are any delays at the port due to weather, customs, etc.

How early can you get on the ship?
They seem to open the gates for those arriving at 10:00.

It's the Frito Bandito

This should help you burn that image out of your mind. You can thank Tim for this snack comparison. ;)

There is no such thing as a good speedo.
Au Contrare Mon Frare -- you'd be praying for a speedo if all you had to look at was an ALTER LATERAL FLASH
