  1. It will be the same type of shows you saw in the main stage on the Pride. No separate comedy club. There will probably be a couple of production shows by the onboard cast and one or two single show outside acts. Movies will be on the pool deck in the evening.

You can bring diet coke on board; jury is out on having the porters carry it or if you must lug it yourself. If you board before the rooms are up you can check your soda and any other carryons in the aft lounge on deck 7.

Haven't been on that itinerary but the second night will probably be formal.

Actually, you can check your bags in the South Pacific Lounge on DECK 6 aft... As for formal night, yes, there is one on Night 2..

  2. Over the yrs we've been in many cabins on Deck 3. Here are a few that we've been in: 3073, 3575, 3071, Deck 2 2083. We generally sail on the Grandeur several times a yr always on Deck 2 & 3. Deck 2 is very quiet since usually only folks with cabins on this deck are in the hallways. Also Interior cabins on the higher decks tend to be layout sideways - not are favorite, thus we always book te lower decks. I hope this helps! As I've said before, the Grandeur is our favorite ship with super friendly staff, thus the reason we sail her so often.

Another bonus - Baltimore cruise Terminal is the most efficient organized port!

Thank you. We were on her last September. It was my wife's first cruise, my third. Both first timers on Grandeur though (we live 2.5 hours away) - We were in 3581 and we LOVED IT!!! We have two more book on Lady G. Same cabin.

  3. We were on the "Lady G" for a B2B in February. We were on Deck 3 Interior Cabin and we had not only new frames (our luggage fit perfectly under the bed without having to lift up the frame) but a new mattress. Maybe they're replacing one deck at a time.

The Grandeur is our favorite ship - we love old and small, having sailed on every class ship. We have her booked for 5 more sailings 2017-2018. More if we could!

If you don't mind me asking, what cabin were you in? We also have a Deck 3 Interior coming up on the next one. Tnx

  4. All the bus routes go from either the Dockyard to Hamilton or from St George to Hamilton for the most part. From the Dockyard to Horseshoe Bay, it takes about a half hour to 45 minutes. To Hamilton, add another 20 minutes or so. Download the Bermuda Tourism app. It's a godsend.

  5. The Bermuda cruise season just started a couple of weeks ago, and the beach season is just getting started about now. It's a little early for most people to have taken an excursion like this.

Good point. Although, I'd even appreciate a review from last year. The only ones I could find were from 2014 and earlier.

  6. Look up Snorkel Park ahead of time, then just head over there the night of the bonfire and not waste money on the excursion.

Yeah, I know where it is in relation to Dockyard. Very interesting idea of just going over there w/o actually doing the paid excursion. We haven't committed ourselves to it, just looking for something relaxing. We're pondering ideas and that was one of ones that popped up. Thanks for the idea.
