If you are a knitter or crocheter, I made a piece an inch wide and long enough to go around the handle circle. Then knitted end to end making a one piece ring. Bright colored yarn and it makes it so easy to pick out your luggage in the pile.

Found Purex 3 in 1 sheets at the various dollar stores.
Which dollar stores? I have looked but can't find. Help...

Very much enjoyed your review and pictures. We are in a mini suite on the Island Princess in Sept thru the canal. Loved the cabin video.

I have never needed to use duct tape at home in 52yrs of my life. What do you use it for on a cruise? I am not trying to be rude just wondering what it's used for other than sealing off air from a heating of cooling system duct.
It helps if a drawer or door is banging. It can hold a drape back. It can stop something from rolling around. An emergency rap air to almost anything. (luggage...)
A good New Englander always carries duct tape in the car. Never know what kind of use it will be needed for.

We were recently on Royal Caribbean and they have a promenade cafe that servered small sandwiches and small desserts 24 hours a day. And coffee and tea. Was nice if you wanted something small to snack.

Does the Island Princess have an IC? What would you substitute for a snack?

Some great ideas. We also take a bit of duck tape. Never know when it might come in handy.
And I always take a travel mug. Can fill up and take along when you are relaxing.

We will be sailing in Sept and I am looking at excursions. Suggestions??? I am thinking the train/boat tour in Costa Rico and the harbor tour in Columbia. What do you think? Suggestions for Nicaragua and Cabo? We are both in our 70's .
Thanks in advanced.

We are on the 10/28 sailing. What time will you be able to disembark on the first morning you are in Bermuda? Will we be able to make the 9:30 ferry to St George?

las313, I had the same concerns on our cruise a couple of weeks ago. We took a zip-lock bag with us to put the glass in. We had no problem getting it on back on the ship. It was in my husbands backpack.
There is a ton of glass, have fun!
Nanners
Thanks.

Was there any problem bringing the glass back on the ship? What did you use to put it in to carry?

Wine question for Regatta
in Oceania Cruises
Posted
We just booked the Regatta for Alaska in June. I am wondering what the policy is to bring your own wine on board. Can I bring it on to use in the cabin? If so, is there a charge?
Thanks.
