Residence Jnn on Hirnsby st. A few blocks from skytrain. Indoor pool, beautiful modern clean. Amazing buffet breakfast. Took Uber from there to part. $11 plus tip. Nice and easy. Going now for about $250 a night in May

you really don't need it. The subway system, works brilliantly since the Olympics were hosted here in 2010. You just get on the Canada line and take it to the last stop, Canada place. Most hotels are a couple of block s from the line. Other than that, and uber or taxi will get you there. Vancouver not that big if you stay right downtown.

You are absolutely right, I didn't read the feed fully, was just trying to comment on how easy it is to get to airport, but I agree, book a later flight for this traveller. Too much stress involved in trying to hope to get on an earlier flight. Most cruise lines tell you, nothing earlier than noon.

We got an upgrade on a ship once which put us under the lido deck. Constant noise from chairs moving as people were seated for eating and moving around. Wasn't bad late at night but got woken up early every morning. Never again. I check carefully now, what's above and below me now.

The cruise port, is located right at the tip of Vancouver. It's a 6 min walk to subway then a 32 min ride to airport. The transportation system in Vancouver is exceptional. Also Vancouver is not a busy airport, small in size. You should be fine. I hope this information helps.
