Why bring an air mattress when you can just take your mattresses from your room and put on your balcony. That's definitely the bed by the balcony floorplan LOL 🤪
(Seriously though the cruise lines will have to watch out for this because it is all over SM now and there are many comments with people saying they are going to do this on their next cruise)
"That's definitely the bed by the balcony floorplan"
Wrong! It's the bed ON the balcony floorplan. 🙃

Very curious to see how you spend 9 days at sea.
The most we have done is 3 days at sea and it was interesting.
I've done 10 straight sea days (Azamara Journey, non-stop Lisbon to San Juan). Very small ship.
I've also done 8 straight sea days (Quantum and Anthem, non-stop Southampton to Cape Liberty).

Can you imagine if they had that today, it would include half the ship population. You would get better service in the NON D and up section. 😀
Simple solution; make half the MDR D and up for breakfast. 🙂

I think this was available on my March cruise. It just gave you the option to change your credit card on file mid-cruise.
I changed my credit card via the app during my Sept. 2023 Liberty cruise.

Was it crowded? I sailed on Grandeur twice last year. According to numbers they showed at the Top Tier event, about 75 percent of the passengers on both cruises were Diamond or higher. Not really surprising since older ships like Grandeur tend to have a very different passenger demographic compared to newer ships like Oasis class ships.It was busy. Note that this was before double points, so I would expect that there were a smaller percent of D and above than there is now.

Even if that's the case I would doubt the arrangement could be flipped.
I agree.

If we already received the stock credits on upcoming cruises and sell the stock, do you know what happens to the credits we already received?
Nothing.

Yes.
I just spot checked Freedom and every regular balcony cabin had the bed next to the balcony (even side by side rooms).

I would highly doubt it. They are not all with the beds by the balcony. The staterooms are typically laid out in a alternating bed location by balcony or bathroom as you progress up or down the numbers and are also set according to dresser / desk location.
While that is true for Oasis and Quantum class, does it apply to other classes?

They may simply be taking an engine down for normal maintenance.

Wasn't being a naysayer , just was reading what you wrote. Thanks for being more clearer now so I and others will more understand what you meant to say.
Her original post was perfectly clear to me. :)

That Diamond (and up) breakfast was a nice touch and is long gone. It was at a time with relatively few D and up members. I can't recall the timing of removal, but it might have been discontinued even before there was a Pinnacle category. There was a daily special item on the standard MDR menu, and also provided in the D section.
Can you imagine if they had that today, it would include half the ship population. You would get better service in the NON D and up section. 😀
Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

The MDR Diamond breakfast was available on my last sailing before shutdown (Grandeur - Feb. 20-28, 2020).

Sailing out of Tampa for the first time... and booking dinner for the first night. I don't want to miss us sailing under the bridge. What time does the ship usually arrive at the bridge.
You're a VIP, doesn't the Captain ask you what time is convenient for you? 😉 😄

Thank you for joining me!
I will literally be joining you! (The cruise, not Disney). Hopefully we can stare at each other in complete silence (I am hearing impaired 😉).
I visited Seville and Malaga/Granada (and many other places) on a high school Spanish trip.
I'll be spending 5 nights post-cruise in Monistrol de Montserrat.

I don't know how it will be viewed by a court if one of his friends, who was over 21, got him drinks.
They should be prosecuted to the fullest extend of whatever law applies.

I’d be thrilled if Celebrity and Royal merged for C and A. It would certainly get us on more Celebrity ships! Elite on Celebrity isn’t much.
My SWAG is they will combine the programs to "enhance your cruise experience".
I.E.; Get rid of the best benefits of each program.

Hmm, not much of a breakfast person but the rest of my family is. How does this work?
I was a special section of the MDR reserved for Diamond and above. Usually the same MDR menu, but occasionally they would have some special items (e.g., chocolate breakfast items).
In addition, free cappuccinos and lattes.

RC needs to change who and how someone becomes a CAS member, IMO.
Do significant others and children get matching status on airlines?
P.S. If there's any Pinnacles that want to hook up, I'm available. 😄

We also became Elite and Diamond before the reciprocal program. We joined the Captains Club (was Founders Club) in 1994. We each had to pay $35.00 to join the CC.
When I became Elite on Celebrity, the reciprocal program was then in place, so I was bumped to Diamond (from Platinum [had 45 points]) on RCI.
I also paid $35 for CC, but I missed the deadline for Founders Club.
Since I took 1 cruise on Azamara while owned by RCG, I am Discoverer with 521 points. Celebrity and Azamara shared points.

Congrats! We earned our second (210) on Allure last September, and we'll be with you on the Allure TA in 2025, and wouldn't you know it, that will be when we earn our third block (280)🤣. I guess I'll be in the market to trade an Allure for symphony (or Odyssey?)😁
I will have one block for each current class of RCI ships, except Quantum Ultra and Icon.
Vision = Enchantment
Radiance = Radiance
Voyager = Adventure
Freedom = Liberty
Quantum = Anthem (x2)
Oasis = Oasis
I need to trade my extra Anthem for Odyssey or Icon.

Congrats on your first crystal block.
I earned my first block on Adventure in 2019. Will earn my fifth (420 point) block on Oasis in two weeks.

When I took my first Celebrity cruise the reciprocal program didn't exist (was Platinum on RCI).
