Really appreciate everyone's input.  I think the cabin would be OK for me based on what I'm reading combined with prior cruise experience.

Still not sure I could face that many sea days if Labadee isn't replaced with a decent port.

I've done 10 consecutive sea days on Azamara Journey (600 passenger ship).

Have done 8 consecutive sea days on Quantum and Anthem, and just did 9 consecutive on Oasis in April.  And will do 9 consecutive on Allure in February.

    YMMV.

I got an enhanced DL just incase the person at check in didn't like a PP that expired within 6 months.

Unfortunately Enhanced DLs are only available in 5 northern border states.  My state only borders Canada via Lake Erie, so it doesn't qualify.  😞

Also not sure what you mean by "leaving ship in the passport area to go quicker".  Check in is exactly the same and with the same agents with or without a passport - there is no separate passport area.

At the end of the cruise, supposedly there is a different line for immigration for those with BC's versus passports.

100% call Royal Caribbean customer service.  i had the EXACT same issue for an upcoming cruise in a few days.  I made MTD reservations first (6:45/7:00 each night) but couldnt book any shows because for some reason MTD was slotted for 5 and a half hours each night.  Crazy!  I called customer service and they were able to manually book all the shows for me on their end and i confirmed them on the app after the rep finished up.

I also had the issue with the 5.5 hour time block for MTD for my Sept Symphony sailing.  I contacted appfeedback@rccl.com back in June and they fixed it for me within 5 days.  It's now a 2 hour block.

I think if this had been after final payment it may have been different but not sure how.

As others have said, no refund for price drops after final payment.  However, if another [higher] category drops, you can upgrade for the $ difference (or no $ if lower than your original fare).

Just called my TA and got my Nov 2 2024 Explorer cruise repriced at the 125% supplement. I even paid off the cruise just 2 days ago a little early like I usually do.

Saves almost $200 on the sold out JS category. TA had to call RCL agent to get it repriced as TA system would not let them reprice category as it was sold out. Took about 15 min and will get the overpayment refunded to credit card since final payment is still a few days away. Will take that $200 savings.

Unfortunately I can't get my Nov 3 2024 Odyssey TA repriced, since it was booked with group rates that were recalled last month.  Plus, it looks like my sailing is sold out.

I'm already booked. Just curiosity as we were laughing about some 17k price showing a week ago as the cheapest. Why are you assuming someone is complaining or wanting it free. You just arent aware of what mock booking showed recently and didnt understand and jumped to conclusions people wanted free. Never good to assume. Another time the cheapest balcony showed as over 20k. This is great. I posted if you want a balcony to jump on it. They been scarce. Just the opposite of you thinking people wanted free. It's a good price compared to recent.

Are you confusing this Oct 2024 sailing with your Oct 2025 sailing?
