On our B2B in November with two booking numbers the left OBC from the first leg was carried to the second one. We where informed about that in the B2B meeting and also in a letter to our cabin.

We are passionate dancers and cruised with all 4 ships. They are quite the same. As mentioned above, Azamara is not the first choice if you want to dance. Ballroom is a bit tricky but possible, for latin dances it is quite OK.
It also depends a lot to the music. One time we had a fantastic motown band - we where lucky if we got one song to dance with each night.

I'm a ballroom dancer and would like to try Azamara with some friends. Can anyone tell me what happens in the Cabaret Lounge, it looks like it has a nice dance floor?
Unfortunately not, although the Azamara Band is very good. The dancefloor is at the Livingroom with an other band.

My B2B experience is that you change your cruisecard in the morning and than free to leave the ship. Lunch is also provided for B2B guests on board before the new guests arrive. But you need not to attend.
If you change cabin this is done by the crew.

Maybe you still have the cruisecard of your last cruise. The tier is mentioned there.

Yes. We usually do as soon on board.

Hello, how much was the Gambia visa? If you apply in advance with the US consulate they want 200 USD per person. If it's that much, we might just stay on board.
As Austrian citizens we did not need a visa for the Gambia. And I am sorry, I don't know how much it was.

I am thinking of pre purchasing the Experience More package but I have already booked all my shore excursions and do not want to cancel them in order to use the $350 excursion credit onboard, as the excursions I want could be sold out. Has anyone had any problem getting the Experience More excursion credit credited to one's already paid for shore excursions?
Did it when on bord. I had to cancel the excursions and rebook with excursions desk.

Yes, in December.
It should start at 9 am but the port was closed so we started at 11:00 and missed some sights also due to heavy traffic. We reached the airport around 1 pm.

We did Gran Canaria to Capetown in November on Pursuit.
The ship took care for all visas. The cost was charged on the account.

Hi, newbie here.
We are looking at an Azamara cruise next May and have a Premium Beverage package.
Does this package include upgraded wines? I can't find the answer to this after my searches.
Thanks for the input.No. A different selection of wine is only included in the ultimate package. But you may order wine and pay for.
Some people also report that you can upgrade premium to ultimate package.

MSC chanceld the three cruises scheduled to pass the red sea yesterday.

Thanks
Is this something that people do a lot in the ports with overnight stays?
No, not common in my experience on 8 Azamara cruises. But guests like to have dinner in port and then come back.
Sometimes also overnight excursions are offered.

If you are planning to stay overnight on land you should inform guest relations. You usually have to be back on board 30 minutes before departure.

Yes, we did last year. As far as I remember it was less than $ 30.

Does anyone know if Marcelo (HD) and Lylian (Concierge) are still on the Pursuit?
HD is Ngawhira Fleet, Lylian I have not yet mentioned after 3 weeks.
Captain is Antonio Toledo and he is the best Master of the ship we met on nearly 30 cruises.

We are on Pursuit sailing Las Palmas to Cape Town, this being our first time with Azamara, we have been privileged to travel with the best Captain and crew we have ever cruised with in 50+ cruises .
The Captain Antonio is everywhere and has been on the ball all day and evening participating in everything.
They crew and service are also first class .
With so many sea days they have made it a wonderful trip.
My only down side is the food could be so much better and the two specialty restaurants are not worth the added expense.
We are also on this cruise and enjoy every moment. Meals we usually have at Disoveries and had some really wonderful dishes.
Antonio for me is a role model for a captain, never met one like him on nearly 30 cruises.

Yes I am on Pursuit, they tried to bamboozle me !! With what I had spent on my first leg.
The easy way to explain it to guest relations, is know your O.B.C then get the list of what you have spent to date and subtract one from the other
Thank you, we got sorted it out. Our booked excursions where taken from the given OBC and not from the excursions OBC that came with the indulgence package. Shore excursions department will that correct, they promised. We will see.

We're on Journey now and the list is different - no more Whispering Angel! Instead there's a Provence Rose. The sommelier told us he had some bottles of Whispering Angel left and would continue to serve it at dinner, but that it wouldn't be available anywhere else on the ship. I'll get a photo of the new list & post it.
On Pursuit since one week and also for the next cruise. Whispering Angel is available in all bars and restaurants.

Just embarked on Pursuit. Booked an excursion for € 150 before to use OBC. OBC is still showing the complete amount, an a print from guest relations states that I owe € 150. So we will see, how they will do it.
It is really very unpleasant.

You pay the drinks, not the difference if you order not included items.
