Just found out that they have it on Explorer at present for $25 pp; or so I'm informed.

Not sure, I am familiar with the concept, I do know they offer a BOGO for the first night and some cruises will have the dining packages (3,4 or 5 night dining packages).
They offer a cheap meal on the first night only, usually at Giovanni's.
Last November it was $19 pp.
You need to book online before you go.

Just wondering if Royal Caribbean still has this dining option and if so how much does it cost.

The same cruise was $997 pp yesterday. I was going to post on here but after I made a booking for family members the price had risen to that in the previous post.
We were already booked on the cruise at almost double the price. Wish now that I would have waited and think that I will always book repos after final payment in future.

On Explorer and Voyager you can order at the Cafe Promenade. I got coffees through my Royal Replenish package. I tried absolutely everything, including frappes, they had on the menu as the package was unlimited but I have to say that the best capuccinos on board were the ones I ordered in the Dining room. You can use your package at any of the Restraunts as well.

Absolutely spectacular scenery. We were supplied with blankets on deck. There was still snow on the mountain tops when we were there which made it even more special.

Just a bit of sharing. I recently contacted a couple of US TAs re an RCI Pacific Cruise in December. Their cruise price was marginally lower but included $200US OBC for an inside. The Aus fare didn't include OBC but had a $200 deposit while the US TAs quoted a $900US deposit. For us we kept it local given that December is a long way off and anything could happen before then. I'd much rather lose the $200 if it came to it.

Welcome to Cruise critic, I suggest you book with the US TA then.
Are the prices quoted by US TAs inclusive of taxes Etc? If not, do these 'extras' add up to substantially more?

I get your point as I believe that the reduced deposits and later final payment dates are not enough of an incentive.
A bit more of an incentive than other cruise lines provide though.
My beef is with those that hike up the prices then give you a 'discount' on the high price bringing the fare down close to what it was all along.
