  1. Hi Jenna,

So sorry about your mum. I am also from the north west of the uk. You are so right you have got to take every chance to can to travel, no one knows what is round the corner. I am disabled and my husband does not like to travel so 7 years ago I left him at home and went (complete with mobility scooter) on my first cruise. I had the best time and now every year I go on a cruise with a friend. So go for it, your mum would be so pleased.

Thanks scooter, I miss her so much but trying to live for her. 'Time is precious, waste it wisely' was one of her favourite quotes.

I'm glad you still manage to travel aswell!!

Also were pretty much neighbours then, I'm from manchester 😄😄

  2. Just off Splendor in July. Was on Glory last year in June. Both great ships and the flow was almost the same. Liked Splendor little more. Just something about her we like more.

Which ship you choose you will have a great time I believe.

    Have a great cruise!

    Thankyou :)

We have chose glory as we like the itinerary better... roll on jan 6th!!

  3. Hi....

I am looking at cruises for the first week in jan.

I can't decided between royal carribean or carnival.

I have managed to get the list down to 2 carnival and 2 RC cruises.

    The carnival ones are:

    Carnival splendor

    Carnival glory

We like the itinerary on both of them and they both leave from miami a day apart. Which ship would you choose and why?

Carnival is slightly cheaper than RC and thats with us both having a drinks package rather than just 1 package on RC.

    Thankyou :)

  4. I have only ever cruised once (in feb) but planning my next one for jan (i also have mexico booked for nov, and new york & vegas for feb... im from the UK)

My beautiful 49 year old mum passed away a week ago.... her philosophy was always life is happening now... make the trips you want to, do the things that make you happy. Sadly she ate her own words... but for her i will always live like that!

So book the cruise, life is simply to short.

  5. The cruise line were aswell, had a small problem and the guest relations couldnt have been worse and made it into a big one. Refused to allow us to see a manager. Then when we did see the manager he sorted it within minutes.

Staff weren't the friendliest (was expecting outstanding staff and were british so our customer service isnt great!) Only one who was very good was our room steward.

I spoke to a few others from our cruise date and they agreed - so dont think it was just me.

  6. Maybe 'manic' is the wrong word. I just meant the cruise line seemed disoragnised, boarding was horrendous at port canaveral. No1 was there to help us once on the ship.with regards with what to do (first timers).

So i am looking for a better cruise line in that aspect.

Are there no ither 'all incl' cruise lines? X

  7. Hi

I have cruised once before on the norweigan epic.... i enjoyed cruising and the stops/food. But i dont think norweigan was for us at it was a bit manic and dis organised.

We are looking to cruise again in January from any port in florida (we are from the UK).

I have looked at a few different cruise lines, even norweigan (who are ridiculously expensive in comparassion to carnical and RC).

Which cruise line would you all recommend?

Are there any that are all incl (orher than NCL).

    Thankyou :)

  8. Hi

Me and my husband have just booked to do the sealion swim at coral world.

Do they provide transport from/to the dock?

If not is it easy enough to get a taxi back from coral worls to our ship? We dock at 8am and our swim is 1115, will we have enough time to get there?

We booked direct with coral world rather than the cruise ship as we saved quite a bit of money and you only get 3.5 hours total if using the cruise ship transport.

  9. We can now book dining/entertainment for our cruise in feb.

    A few questions

    - it's saying I can book dining for the manhatten room, I thought you didn't have to make reservations for this? And if you do, there are 4 of us travelling together, but on 2 seprate bookings. How would we make it so we get seated together?

-how good is cirque? We watched a you tube video and if I'm honest it looked awful?

    Thankyou:)
