It is available. I've ordered flowers in the past for DW. When you log into your account, instead of clicking on "Plan my cruise" click on "manage reservation". Scroll down and you'll find Delivery Onboard. The flowers I've ordered are fresh and have lasted at least the entire cruise.

Details of Celebrity's Next "Sale" Starting March 2
cdn_tbird replied to NorthStarStateCruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Personally, I couldn't care less about the "sales" or other banners, as long as it's the itinerary, cabin, and "perks" that I want at a price that I'm comfortable with. -
I always booked an NRD and have never been charged anything on reprice.

Where’s the Beef? Meatloaf in Blu!
cdn_tbird replied to Cruising Princess's topic in Celebrity Cruises
This exactly. When I was young, the shanks were the scraps that butchers would pretty much give away. My grandmother would bring home bags full that we used in our sauce. Nowadays Osso Buco is a delicacy and so is Pasta Fagioli, two staples in our household growing up. -
Alaska - Sights from the Boat vs Excursions
cdn_tbird replied to Debate's topic in Celebrity Cruises
They do offer small boat excursions to Hubbard's Glacier. We had booked it for our Aug cruise but unfortunately we were on the Eclipse that got held up in Vancouver because of the tug operators strike it got cancelled because by the time we arrived the small boats were contracted with other ships. To kind of make up for it, they brought the boat in closer than normal. At first the sceptic in me wondered if they were being completely truthful about that, but as we were leaving I notice that a couple of other ships that had arrived were starting their rotation and I'd say they were at least 2-3 times further out than we were. -
how much smaller can the "up to" be on the newest email offer
cdn_tbird replied to luckyinpa's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It has to be big enough to be legally legible but small enough so that some CC member won't see it and come here to start a thread about how it's fraudulent advertising and they're going to have their state AG sue RCL out of existence. 🤣🤪 🤣🤪 🤣🤪 🤣🤪 -
We've never received a BCC offer. Since it says you need to enter your CC number, I'm wondering if it's a generic link. Would you be willing to email it to me (email address is linked in my sig). I'd be curious if anything comes up under my CC number.

DW does the same thing.

I don't think you need to throw them all off. Just randomly pick 2 cabins and disembark everyone in them. If they broadcast it on all the screens available especially those giant ones on the pool deck. I'll bet you that all the other stragglers would be tripping all over themselves scrambling to get their muster station. You could even record the wild scramble and feature it as a comedy night in the main theater. 🤣🤣🤣

How can I tell what drink package I have?
cdn_tbird replied to Married90's topic in Celebrity Cruises
This. Get the X's guest copy. It lists everything you are paying for and that they are obligated to provide. If something isn't what you expected when you're onboard, waving a copy of your TA's invoice or a screenshot of a picture from their app/website will get you nowhere. They'll simply tell you to contact your TA to have them address it which is the last thing you want when you're trying to relax and enjoy yourself. We always book through a TA and when we're booking we ask them to have the guest copy sent to us and never had a problem. You should see codes similar to these. This is from our most recent cruise TCO4-BEVPRINGRAT7 - BEVerage PRemium INcluding GRATuitites 7 night TCO3-PROMO2P 7N - This is the credit for the same amount billed above. Wifi & Gratuities are billed/credited the same way. -
It wasn't that bad.... You just needed to be 6 drinks in to be able to see the comical genius behind it. 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Because the end of cruise questionnaire goes to head office, we typically didn't use the free form comment at the end to recognize any crew members as we didn't feel confident that it would get back to them or their managers in a timely manner. DW would always grab some comment cards at guest services and write nice notes when they were merited. Since the restart it seems they got away from the physical comment cards and gone online. Now each ship (or sailing) has a unique QR code visible at guest services, so now we snap a quick pic and submit the comments when we want. We've done it while onboard and the crew has thanked us for the kind words. We found that it also eliminated the "begging for 10s" since they already knew how we felt about their service.

I've been on numerous cruises pre e-muster where way too many people thought the muster drill was simply another excuse for them to socialize with their friends & family. The self-centered will continue to be such and not give the muster drill the attention it deserves. Whether they're rounded up physically or shamed over the PA system is irrelevant to them. You want compliance, have security grab a couple of the stragglers and publicly disembark them, that will grab the others' attention. I'm a pessimist and believe that if there were ever a real emergency the vast majority of passengers would be running around like chickens with their heads cut off regardless of whether they paid attention to the muster or not.

DW & I aren't big gamblers, maybe play $50 each on a cruise if that. I follow these comp'd cabin threads longingly awaiting the BCC Fairy to grace my inbox with an offer. So far no luck just like in the casino 😆

If the recent changes to the Classic package to include everything in the Zero Proof package, that will change the math on whether it's worth upgrading to the premium package. If I can get the premium & carbonated waters on the classic package, it may make sense to just pay the upcharge on my alcohol drinks.
-
Did you book an Aqua class cabin? If so, the Classic Beverage package is included in the price you paid. Did you book directly with Celebrity or through a TA? If through a TA ask them to forward Celebrity's Guest Copy. It will have a breakdown of everything included in your fare. If you booked directly, you should already have a copy. Unfortunately, the Cruise Planner site will show you things you may already have, like the beverage package. The codes below are from the guest copy for our Alaska sailing YWR2-PROMO2CN 7N (This is the charge for our Classic Beverage Package for 7 nights) YWF3-BEVCLINGRAT7 (This is the credit for our beverage package) If you post the codes from your Guest Copy we can help you decipher them.

Chef's Table by Daniel Boulud - Which Day?
cdn_tbird replied to cdn_tbird's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Miched & Patty1955, I appreciate your insights. Do either of you recall whether the Chef's Table you did was on a sea day? -
We have significant amount of OBCN on our Nov. cruise and are looking at a couple of things we'd like to do including the Chef's table, and the Chef's Market Discovery excursion. I understand that if we book the Chef's Table, we'll get confirmation of date & time when we board. Since the description says " Cancelled packages are subject to full cover charges and there are no refunds for unused amounts", I'm wondering if the Chef's Table is done on a sea day or could it be any day? Thanks

I'm sure there must be at least 1 dish were it tastes "ok", but I haven't found it. 🤣🤪

Negative antigen test, Toronto to New Orleans?
cdn_tbird replied to PatandStu's topic in Canadian Cruisers
Don't disagree with you and as I said, I didn't have any problems with them when we travelled recently. That said, nothing would stop an airline person sticking to the exact wording and ask you to remove them or they wont' accept your bags. Good info to know and being prepared. I know where in our suitcases they're attached and I can quickly remove them if push ever came to shove. -

Hopefully your TA will come back with good news. The pessimist in me would be worried that their T&Cs point to another set of T&Cs which interestingly enough don't seem to have any mention of different rules for vacations/cruises. Maybe I missed something. What I did see that would concern me is that they have a disclaimer on there about "travelling with a smart bag". Will have to double check our Tile trackers. Didn't have a problem with them on either WestJet in Aug or American Airlines in Nov.
