I would go with the cabins that can hold a 3rd or 4th person...those are the bed near the bathroom on the S class ships...

Does anyone have info on the beds. Website says 99% of cabins have king size beds. Are these real king size beds or two beds put together?

 

Seems very restrictive if they are solely have the one bed. Some do have sofa beds or an upper but not many.

I would think it is two beds put together to make a king, or separated for two passengers. Cant imagine it would be one king size bed only.

Had to switch rooms 3 times.

The first rep had no deck plans.

So she just gave us anything and said to call back.

The second time took cabins that had the Carpet flying by.

Then got to see deck plans. Didnt want to be on smoking side, port, and didnt want Carpet.

So took a more aft on starboard, infinity balcony E3....B2B...a fortune.

Will see what new itins come out.

The carib ports are lousy. Will not get off the ship for most of them.

For years now, I have worn a white glove to the buffet. Everyone handles utensils. We dont know if their hands are clean. If I forget my glove, I use the table napkin to put the food on my plate. Has worked for me so far.

The Magic Carpet is positioned on Deck 5, starboard or port? Does anyone know.

As for State of the world, I dont know what that has to do with wanting to know when the next itineraries may come out.

I called Oceania to see if they have some approximate idea when the 2019 itineraries will be available. Carib, etc.

This is the answer I got.

" oh I think they will definitely be available"

"well maybe in a year"

can you be more specific

" sure, maybe in 6 or 4 months"

when I called last time, I was told it would be in March

"oh yes maybe march"

at that point, I said thank you and hung up....

Not sure yet which cruise line to use for Hawaii. Oceania does Tahiti and Hawaii together. Will see what comes out for 2019.

This will be our second cruise on Oceania and on the Marina. We thought it was a beautiful ship.

I also thought this itinerary was very well priced.
