Keep us updated. That is unbelievable. I would be livid.
I totally agree. Would not give up a JS without more incentives or bump up to a better suite.

There are elevators in the terminal if you want to avoid the escalator.
Yes that would be a better option.. Thanks for that information.

Thanks Bob & Biker. Need that info for my husband so now know to get a w/chair. Will email special needs or
ask the concierge to reserve.

Not sure if this will help, but we were on the Anthem in October. Went to the gym daily but never used the mats.
Did see others use them from the supply on the wall, but cannot say how many there are. There never seemed to be
many using them at one time when we were there, even when there were some classes.

We are on the Oasis feb 9. In an email we received it states an escalator takes you to the ship. Can anyone confirm there will not be the usual winding ramps to get on the ship ?
Am I interpreting this correctly or will there still be some ramps ? TIA.

Enjoyed this very positive post. We board Oasis in 20 days for a b2b and cannot wait to get out of this
cold, cold weather. We love to cruise and enjoy every one to the fullest.
Enjoy your cruise and congrats on the weight loss.

Thanks for the Oasis review. Enjoying it all very much. CK lunch menus helpful too. Not a huge fan of CK but do like going
occasionally. Looks like a good option for boarding day for sure. Best menu is Labadee, but we plan to get off that day &
enjoy the island. As in GS will be able to enjoy the private area. Good for my husband as he has mobility issues and needs
the cart transportation to get there safely.

Rule of thumb is, if his laptop lid is up, move along. He works around 5 hours a day.
He is a very gracious gentleman
Thanks for this. Will definitely respect his working & free time.

He departs on April 5
Boards Vision on April 11 for 2 southern trips, then the TA
Oh hope we can meet him. I've heard so much about him. We're on 2/9 & 2/16. I don't want to be intrusive, but is he ok with
people introducing themselves ? Where is his office if I may ask ?
Thanks.

Looking forward to your review. We board in 29 days for a b2b. Can barely wait.
Would love to cruise as much as you do. Too far away to drive, flying very expensive. Will just enjoy what we can afford.

Please keep in mind that you need to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of your Labadee stop.
Correct. I plan to see how the first time goes before deciding either way.

@sdrocks hasn't returned yet to explain, but my interpretation of the OP is that while s/he has access to Barefoot Beach, s/he is paying for something somewhere else anyway.
Yes your interpretation is correct.
We do have access to barefoot beach & it's possible we may cancel these chairs when get on board, but decided to get them for now. We will be on Oasis week before with stop on Labadee & plan to go to barefoot beach then.

We are b2b on Oasis in Feb. Labadee on both legs. We are in a GS so can go to the private beach.
Decided to book a beach lounger for 2 on second leg. Booked it on 11/27 for $34. Today the price is $49. So guess we got lucky with one thing anyway. 😋

The UDP package on Oasis for 2/16 & 2/23/2020 has dropped by $20 if anyone interested in booking (was $199/pp, now $179/pp)

I guess I don't care if it's delivered, because if I see it I'm grabbing it. On our October Anthem cruise saw some luggage in
the hall so kept walking and found ours. This was before muster drill. Liked being all unpacked before muster drill
and sailaway so can just enjoy the rest of the boarding day without going back to cabin several times to see if
luggage delivered. 😀

Love all the pictures. Can't wait to board in 63 days for a b2b.

We like GS on Deck 8.
Our preferred deck also. Doing a b2b in Feb & can't wait. GS on deck 8 is perfect for us. Walk right out to central park.

Giovannis first, Chops second.
Personally think 150 Central Parks menu very limited & not all that delicious. Just my opinion

Oops, didn't even look at the date. A little behind on CC. Too much black friday & cyber monday on the brain to notice.

Just got a phone message from RCI stating that their Grand Suites were overbooked and they were offering cash back of half what I paid plus $200 OBC to step down to a JS for my upcoming cruise in 4 days. If you book by specific cabins, how do they end up with more sold than available? Maybe having to take a cabin out of service?
I declined BTW. The wife would not be happy...Ask for an Owners' suite or above for the price paid for the grand suite. 😊

sdrocks: I would definitely get your husband a wheelchair or walker. The ramps they use at ports are very steep. My husband had to prevent me from rolling too quickly down a ramp and also help me up the ramp. I also had multiple offers of assistance from staff with the ramps. I had offers from staff to carry my food at Windjammer, El Loco Fresh and Portside BBQ. They are incredibly helpful. Just anFYI, there have been a few scooters parked in the hallways. I have not had any trouble getting by them.
Thanks. I will definitely request one.

FYI, I just booked all our shows on Oasis for our b2b starting 2/9, ending 2/23 in case anyone interested.

On Symphony, the ramp was practically flat.
Long, but flat 😉
That would be doable most likely. Will try to call & see if anyone REALLY knows at RC. LOL !!
Maybe special needs would have the best idea.

Feb 8th Miami Hotel pre cruise
in Florida Departures
Posted
Just on a whim decided to check our hotel price at Hampton Inn Miami Brickell. Surprisingly shocked to see the price had actually dropped $40.
Called them & rebooked at the lower rate. Not cheap by any means, but liked the reviews so that's why we chose this one. I am not a fan of "not nice" motels.
Hope the reviews are correct. Just in case anyone else has this motel and could save some money.
