Anyone notice that 150 Central Park has apparently been replaced by Promenade Cafe ? Deck plans just show a restaurant space, but no name.
Ad shown a couple of pages earlier in this post lists 'Promenade Cafe'. Interesting

Better suggestion..... ditch that RCI card and get a Barclays arrival mastercard. Earn 50,000 bonus points then 2 points for every dollar. Spend them for any travel expense. You also get 5% point rebate when you use them. Beats the RCI Visa all to heck. Last year I earned a Jr suite on Harmony. Not bad for free.

Pretty funny.... just called RC to ask when Symphony would be open for booking. Jamie told me they did not have a ship by that name, perhaps I should call Celebrity. I enlightened her, and upon further checking she did find that a new ship would begin booking by end of next week, but she did not yet know the name. Always the last to know.

I would suggest ditching that RC card, get a Barclays arrival card, earn 30-40,000 points for signing up, then 2 points for every dollar. You would have double the credit you now have.
-
IF you really want to earn a free cruise in 1/2 the time, dump that BOA card and apply for the Barclays arrival Mastercard. Get 40,000 up front points, and 2 points for each dollar. paid for a Jr suite last year in full.

Took our family of 5 there on Harmony in early December. First off, the presentation and the ambiance are unlike anything else. Some of the things on the menu SOUND a little weird, but are not really. I think you would find the evening quite interesting. Go for it.

So I guess RC would rather have their head in the sand, merrilly believing that
the food is great, even when it isn't. Why the hell even bother with a survey. Just assume that it is awesome, and go on with your current level of
food quality.

Chasep17... from a half baked video maker wanna-be, how the heck did you get that all that action in sync with the music? Inquiring wanna-be's want to know.

Do they have the Roaring Twenties event on Harmony? We enjoyed it last year on Oasis.
-
Jr suites on Oasis and Allure have a coffee maker in room. Anyone know about Harmony? (We are REALLY spoiled.)
-
There are some at the royal caribbean blog site, but they are small and lo resolution. They are way down in the blog, so be patient while scrolling. I was hoping for something I could use for wallpaper, as I currently have the pic of Oasis and Allure, but they don't blow up well. Tried posting the link, but it was censored?

Have been in both balcony and JS on Allure and Oasis 5 times. Always on deck 8. Best place to be. No noise problems.
-
Anyone know when and how they install the stateroom modules?
-
All of that usually opens up 90 days prior to cruise date.
-
Been on Oasis 5 times, Allure once. To the best of my knowledge, all outside balcony rooms are the same size The difference is...location location location. But you are certainly right about that picture. That is NOT a standard balcony. Hope you have a great cruise.

Apply for the Barclays arrival Mastercard. Earn 2 points on all purchases. Get a 40,000 point sign on bonus. Also get 5% of your points back when you redeem. Best card out there for traven
-
Better yet, apply for the Barclay's arrival mastercard, and get 2 points for everything you put on the card. Thats twice what the RCI card gives.
-
After 5 trips on Oasis, and 1 on Allure, we find that deck 8 is great. Easy access to everything, and no disadvantages. Will be sailing Harmony on Nov 26, obviously on deck 8. Have a great trip.
-
At lunch it is a buffet, although with more healthy choices, and less of them than you get in the WJ. At night it is sit down, but with a healthy choice menu.
-
Sailed Oasis 4 times, always in 8636. Right up the hall. Lovely room and a wonderful location. Handy to Central Park, and halfway to anywhere. Lucky you!:D
-
:) Been on Oasis 4 times, find that all our luggage, 2 flip over 3 suiters, and 3 carry-ons all go under the bed. Enjoy!
-
I would check out the Barclay Arrival MC. Gives you 40,000 points for sign up, then 2 points on ALL purchases, then 5% points back on redemption. Can only be used for travel, but beats the RCI card hands down. last year we totally paid for a Jr suite on Oasis with points. MIGHT have gotten a balcony with RCI.
-
I suggest the Barclays Arrival + MC. They have been giving 40,000 sign up bonus, then 2 points for each dollar anywhere. Then when you redeem, they give back 5% of the redeemed points. NOBODY can touch that deal. :D

Having sailed Oasis 4 times, and 1 time on Allure, and with Harmony coming up in November, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed every part of your review. Even though were just on her in December, it was like being there all over again (I can only wish). We love Oasis class. Once again, a huge thank you, and particularly for the video of the music in Central Park. We enjoyed that so many evenings. :):)

Lloyd555... when and how do they actually install the cabin modules?
