The NCL Promo codes are placed on you account by NCL!  The codes can vary from Promo to Promo, therefore, you would need to check your invoices and compare the codes with the ongoing list.

(Also, many of your promos will show up as "spelled out" line items listed on your invoices. Ours usually show lower on the first page, but, yours could be on page 2.)

Where do you go to compare a booking to them”ongoing list”?

That gives me hope!!!!  Thanks for sharing.  Four days out now and it's still pending with no option to modify/cancel.  I'm checking my app like an addict.

When you say no option to modify, is it greyed out when you look at the bid(s)?  Mine allows to modify or cancel, so maybe not in the hopeful stage with 3 days out.

I haven't heard of one of those in a decade!

My take is that ships were always sailing very near full, and the few available were given for c&a to surprise, or for the high tier members. Then RoyslUp came along to manage the availability. I was curious with now because ships aren’t full, if anyone got one at the pier.

Yes, Royal Up offers are made regardless of current available inventory.

Thanks. It’s interesting they are offering category that isn’t available and not offering category that they do have inventory.

@borg1of2Yes.  The will come available because people will cancel and people already in that category can be upgraded.

Our sailing is only 1 week away. Doubt there will be too much canceling at this point.

Also, they use Royal Up bids as market research, figuring out what people are willing to pay for certain categories.

    Good point.

another question. Are they doing pier upgrades these days?

Can someone let me know if this will work if I made my initial deposit on another card?  The offer text says:

    DETAILS

Get a one-time $350 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $1,000 in one or more transactions on reservations booked at royalcaribbean.com, by phone at 1-866-562-7625 or by contacting your preferred travel advisor by 12/31/2021. See terms for exclusions.

So does this mean I can pay $1,000 on my eligible Amex card for my already existing reservation and get the credit or did I need to book with the Amex to begin with?

That’s my understanding and what I plan to do. I really think it just need to be any charge from Royal Caribbean. Post above got it for buying the beverage package.

    Perfect. Thank you!

(I'm unable to locate any of the KSF sailings on the website, seems they may have neglected to actually upload them. LOL. And yes...... I've become pretty expert at making sure I'm looking during their "non blackout" periods from the fine print..)

I'm with you... just tried the link and still doesn't show up when I mock book.

    Hope you have better luck!

This might be that the poster is from Portugal and the promo isn’t running here in th US.

I got an upgrade!  paid $630 U.S. (for the 2 of us) to get a 1 bedroom Aqua suite (upgraded from a grand suite on 9) Not sure if that's a deal or not--but I'm pretty happy!

    Congrats!

The 1Bdrm is still Sky class yes?  Also do you know if it was showing available when you booked, or if there were any suites available?

We get on Harmony as you get off. Hope you have a great cruise.

  8. I know this is an old post, but trying to find some of that same info, mostly around costs though, for an RFS on Allure of the Seas (Or any Oasis class). We're sailing in July, two balcony rooms for my wife and our three boys (17, 15, 10). curious if the price is comparable or how much more? Don't care about it being more 'trimmed' out and fancy, i see these suites as being more of a double stateroom with extra amenities? Thanks for any help!

We had the RFS on Oasis last Sept. deck 12 with a hot tub on the balcony. This is one that they split the Presidential suite into two RFS, each with a hot tub. Absolutely loved it. There were 5 of us. 3 adults and two kids. We paid a little over $7200 for it, with a KSF sale, booked about 10 months out. The RFS has a second bedroom with two beds or one queen. Closing the doors creates good privacy, plus the extra full bathroom.

RCL cabins aren’t fancy, nice and very comfortable.

  9. Hi, question on the description for the Harmony Conceirge.

Jeremias "Jerry" Lora Martinez -- back Jan. 20, 2018 (vacation started 11-18-2017) then Cheker Chehaibi ; Mohamed - started 8-18-2017 -- until January 20th.and returns March 20, 2018

I’m on the Jan 27 cruise. Is this saying the two will be Jerry

and Cheker? The vacation column was blank, so wasn’t sure who the two would be

    Thanks

  10. Hello! Looking for some guidance. We've had our Royal Caribbean cruise booked for ages sailing to St Martin, San Juan and Labadee. We depart on the Oasis 9/24. Just got notification that after Irma's destruction of St Martin (my heart goes out to that island) we will be visiting St Kitts instead.

We are experienced cruisers and local Floridians. Family of 4, two kids ages 7 & 10. I've read through a lot on this sub and haven't seen too much geared to families. We were planning on taking a speedboat day tour in St Martin that included many snorkeling stops and beach breaks. I've never been to St Kitts, but it seems there aren't a lot of beach options like some of the other islands? The pictures seem to have very small areas crowded with chairs. I'm not really into land tours, we really like having a local restaurant/bar and water activities. We usually get on a sail/snorkel excursion months in advance and this being a last minute change I'm afraid our options will be very limited.

Any advice? Thank you in advance!!

We are on the same sailing. Two kids as well, 8 and 4, both girls. I was thinking about doing a sail and snorkel as well. Wonder how many they pack on the cruise line excursions? I was looking at 3rd Party as they would be cheaper and less crowded?

  11. Hello,

My daughter and son in law booked the royal family suite for us in September. Can someone tell us the benefits/cons of this room? It is on deck 9.

    Thank you!

    Christine

We are in a RFS on Deck 12 Sept 24 sailing. Can't wait.

We were in a GS on Allure last year and enjoyed the suite and all the offerings. Best advice is be comfortable asking and they will do their best to accommodate.

  12. We were on the same cruise as well.

Chops - Horrible. Nite 2 6:00 reservation. No Stella, streak under cooked, whiich caused my wife's to get cold while waiting to properly cook mine. Service was also terrible.

Sabor - Great. Nite 4. 6:00 reservation. Love the food and drinks. Wish we got the transitional Sabor Margaritas glass.

Giovanni's- Great. Nite 8. 6:00 reservation. Again no Stella. Food was great. Server was excellent.

    MDR - Outstanding - 5:30 seating on Deck 3.

Bar Service - Good. Pool attendants always got the orders wrong.

Shows - didn't go to any. Nothing seemed all that entertaining. Miss the bigger ship type shows and entertainment. Wanted to do ice show, but never got it to work.

Labadee - Cabana. Best relaxed beach day

Curaçao - rode the bridge and toured the town.

    Aruba - Beach day

Bonaire - Scuba North and South shore. Great island tour. Favorite island.

Love the 9-night. Enjoyed the smaller class with all the options of larger Freedom class. Overall. A great cruise.

  13. Sorry. I don't like it. There are other ways for RCCL to know who is holding cabins and canceling late. This impacts those that want to book, for say spring break, far in advance. Such that spring break dates may not even be known. Then if I have to change I am penalized. There are just too many legitimat reasons that schedules need to change.
