I didn't forget, but I did have a pretty busy day today -- mostly because I spent it with my sister. @Cruising-along would understand why. I do think it would be a good idea for everyone that posts here to meet during the first couple of sea days. For me, anything would work but it seems that right after lunch is the time that the fewest activities are scheduled. How about around 2pm on the 5th. That would give everyone time to settle in a bit. The Crows Nest would work and everyone could just look for Santa. @cruising sister @durangoscots @Cruisercl and any others

I believe the hold is still $60 / person / day for cruises under 30 days, and $30 / person / day for cruises 30 days and over. I always have an amount of OBC on my account before the cruise begins due to Stockholder/Military etc and Travel Agent credit. Because of that, I check the box marked cash when checking in online. In the past I have been asked for a card at physical check in, but told the rep that I had enough OBC and was advised to check with the front desk. After verifying on the TV or app that I had my OBC in place, I don't go to the front desk. I haven't been asked about the amount, but I generally have close to the hold amount in OBC in place. At the end of the cruise any refundable OBC has been returned.

Actually, they have not changed the program. When it was first announced it was stated that the program was for new bookings only. Then, like with so many other things, someone called and complained that they should get it because they booked 'yesterday'. When they received it, of course they had to announce it on CC, FB, and other social media. Because of this, HAL allowed it to be added to an existing booking for a short period.

Two weeks from now I will be sitting at HJAIA (The Atlanta Airport) waiting to board a plane to San Diego to board Volendam. Everything is pretty well set for this thread to continue again while I am gone. I'll be in San Diego for 2 days, boarding on Friday, most likely around noon.

I have two upcoming cruises for the 12 day cruise I believe the internet package in advance would be $187.99 for the 15 day cruise the internet package in advance is $223.99 I was able to verify the 12 day finally and it has been updated.
