  1. After we get off of the Anthem in Southampton in October this year, we will have about 10 days in Spain before we board the Oasis in Barcelona for the TA. We plan to fly to Madrid from LHR, spend 4 nights there, take a train to Zaragoza and spend 3 nights there, then a train to Barcelona for the final 3 nights. We have been to Barcelona before and are staying at the H10 Catalunya Plaza as we really liked that hotel last year when we were there. My question, thoughts on what to see/do in Madrid and Zaragoza. We are not "shoppers" so that is of no interest to my wife and I, but almost anything else would be of interest to us. While we might be "older", we still get around very well. Hotel recommendations? What is the best train & station to travel on/from? Thanks in advance for any input. Dan
  2. We went from Explorer to Oasis 2 weeks ago. RCCL provided the transportation but it was a bit confusing to find the pick up location. Got off Explorer about 9:45 a.m. (we were about the last group to disembark) - retrieved our luggage by about 10:15 a.m. - then found the pick up point (along with 8 others making the same transfer) after about 5 minutes of searching (pickup point was to the far right as you exit the terminal) - waited on the shuttle for about 20 minutes. By the time we got down to the Oasis, they allowed us to check in and board immediately. We were on board by 11 a.m. I will also say that you do not want to attempt to walk, it is quite a distance and there is some construction.
  3. Agree with @Tree_Skier and the others above. We always dress for formal night and, while we might be in the minority, we are certainly not alone. Dress how you feel and do not worry about what others say or do.
  4. @HlitnerThank you for the input. The Louvre is the only one I think we will get a guide. Should allow us to maximize our time there. We will add the Marmottan to our list as we too like Impressionism. Any restaurant recommendations that are not the normal tourist type places? Thanks again.
  5. @HlitnerWe are going to be in Paris for 4 days before we fly to Rome for a cruise. We are staying at Hotel Relais Saint Sulpice, I am looking for recommendations for private tour guides or a reputable tour company that can help us. We want to use 3 of the 4 days to see the Louvre, D'Orsay, Rodin, and general sight seeing all a a more relaxed pace. Appreciate any input. My email is ddr @ ddrhome dot com
  6. I'm just off the Vision (b2b) and had no trouble getting a table for two for either cruise.
  7. I'm on Vision currently and the internet both in our cabin and in the public areas has been very good. Not sure if it is starlink or not, but very good response times.
