I was really looking forward to my first solo. My niece and her best friend hijacked my cruise and booked today. At least I'll have company for dinner. It's also their first cruise. I'm still hoping for alone time.:D

You know my gd loved all three of the cruises she went on. I think it was the other children, the friendly cruise, oh yeah she had a crush on the piano player. She enjoyed the ship just as much as the islands.

I've slept there twice, on purpose. Smell in room was bad both times. Once I fall asleep, I'm out, hear nothing. Only wake up when I get hungry.

Wow. . I bring air fresher with me. It was one of the tips I read on here. but I never had to use it.

I think I would still have a formal complaint if the room smelled that bad.

But I did sleep in a lounger on my January cruise because I didn't want to join the other seasick people. Especially since my cabin was forward.

That's nothing! I was ONBOARD Celebrity Reflection earlier this month when it was my birthday and all I got was a card in our room and a birthday cake at dinner. I was expecting a parade in my honor around the Lido deck!!! :D
