Yes, I have 39 days before I board this ship. I hope they do get some kind of control over this. When they offer full credit was that prior to boarding or you knew about it prior to going to the ship. Once you're there you really don't want to turn around.

Wow. I think I will order them up and save them for a good deal on the next cruise. Especially if they are giving away extras. I hope that deal is all year round. Also, how long did it take you to receive your gift cards?

I'm looking to book the Breakaway for oct or nov 2014. Pricing to me is high but they offering more of a luxury feeling. Especially for their suite quest. Carnival treats everyone as equals which is a nice difference. However, sometimes you want to fill special. Also, their ships have more in the recreation dept. however, I like carnival shows better and the ideal of having the same servers for dinner at night. To be truthful I like both of these cruise lines. They both have something to offer- a relaxing vacation.

I didn't receive a beeper or phone. They just asked where I would be if they needed to contact me. They were saving the phones for those children still I'm diapers.

Insurance / Definition / Pay a little now or a lot latter .
For some of you , check with your insurance carrier ( home , auto ect.) some offer travel insurance at a yearly premium .. cheap
Also while your at it check on a $1M homeowner liability umbrell , also very cheap.. ( slightly off topic)
OR wrap yourself in Bubble wrap and dont leave the house ...;)
Homeowners policies are not cheap but cheaper than a major loss. Tenants insurance is very inexpensive and umbrella/excess policy is not expensive either.

I guess that is a reason for buying travel insurance with cancellation provision. To protect you from the unknown. You would be surprise to find out how many people have to cancel because of an operation, stroke, heart attack and yes cancer.

NCL once again changed their site. Now they give you the price per person.
This caused me to believe that a miracle had happening, my cruise pricing went down. Well greedy me grab my phone and called them up looking to up grade or more OBC. Just to be told pricing is still going up on my cruise.

My first time in a PH suite. I definitely want to feel special even if I am not anymore special than the next person. I cannot wait for January. I really need this vacation and to be laying back reading a book and enjoying the gentle rocking of the Ocean....

Really? 7 days a week. 16 to 20 hour days?
20 suites on Sun. 7 day cruise. $140 x 20 = $2,800 x 52 weeks = $145,600 or $25 hour. That is if everybody tips high. How many stiff them? I am sure tis is their livelihood. Not salary. The concierge is an Officer of the Ship. Personally, I don't care how much they make if they enhance my vacation. If I can afford a suite I should be able to afford the tips that go with it.
