Was the cruise paid by credit card? some credit cards offer supplemental insurance that might help

We tip the individual who greets following the conclusion of the excursion. My opinion is that the bus driver / guide have worked out some satisfactory arrangement to share tips... like in a restaurant.. I don't run around looking for the bus boy... hostess... etc.

Cabanas often sell out on popular cruise weeks. I would not wait.
Book it and "maybe" they can reprice it onboard

Generally, younger kids are required to take their shoes off during activities within the Splash Academy rooms and the kids play in their socks. If they have outside the SA room activities (sports court, pirate parade, etc.) they need shoes.

Check out the Bio Bay night time kayaking excursion. we liked it.

To get dining times we wanted, we have sometimes just paid for the reservation on-line and had them process the refund onboard to our onboard account.

We traveled on the Gem in February, 2019 with a passport that expired a few days after we got back and had no problems.
Also brought along the birth certificate, but never presented it.

As others have pointed out, its a passenger manifest issue.
Your best bet at this point is to get onboard and see if you can speak to the Hotel Director and maybe he can do something.

I would have the passengers walk one block over (between the parking garage and design center) and pick them up there.

Op asked for examples of "signs ignored" .. on point.
Maybe you thought the thread was about hand sanitizing?.

Back to the OP's topic:
How about posters who ignore forum posting guidelines:
Thread Hijacking (Off Topic Posts) --
Thread hijacking is the act of trying to steer a web forum discussion thread off topic by discussing a subject entirely unrelated to the subject at hand. There is far far too much of this going on in the NCL Forum.

"The use of photography or video equipment is strictly prohibited in the theater."
The photos that occasionally pop up in the right margin made me think of it.

I think the casino might be closed while traversing Glacier Bay too.

To save you the grief of wading through 189 pages of mostly useless non current data...
I think it was $25

we usually "say thank you both" and hand the tip to whoever is closer. We don't differentiate between driver and guide when tipping and hope they somehow figure out how to divide it.
Kind of like tipping waitstaff

We were preparing to leave our cabin to debark and handed our cabin steward an extra gratuity in addition to the $s we'd left in the cabin here and there throughout the week to say thanks for things. Instead of "Thank you", our cabin steward said we should ask to have the service charge removed from our bill and give it all to her.
Then she said...."or did you prepay your gratuities?". We had pre-paid but that's neither here nor there.
A few minutes later as we were leaving our cabin we found the same cabin steward looking at another guest's bill that was hanging by their door. I'm assuming she was checking to see if it showed their gratuities.
That final confrontation left us feeling bad and questioning things. We didn't report the issue to NCL or anything but I'm assuming if she confronted very many guests, someone would have by now.
Have you ever had this happen? How did you respond?
I think it was mis-communication between the parties. I think the steward was confused by the money "here and there during the week", as well as the money given at disembarkation. There was (is) a time when stewards had to turn in money received from cabins that had chosen to remove the service charge.
I don't see the discussion "you should give me the cash next time" as confrontational either.

I was also surprise to see no awards for NCL in any category. NCL might not be my favorite line but in no way RCCL wins over them in food and entertainment.
I thought my last 2 cruises on NCL Getaway and Epic was superior to our last cruise on RCCL Allure Of the seas.
All cruise line nickel and dime so it will be nice to see if Virgin make the industry adjust themselves.
Thanks
Sea ya

Does RCCL still endorse / pay their "Champions" posting here on CC to crush any dissent?
I know it was a issue a couple of years ago, many didn't know there were paid cheerleaders...

Coors light (16 oz.) is $6.95 plus gratuity or about $8.34
Just circling back to this thread to say there were no 16oz Miller / Bud / Coors Light cans on the Gem last week only 12 oz... but the price remained the same $6.95 plus gratuity.

In addition to the posted dr.'s office hours for passengers the dr.'s also have regular sick call hours for the 1,000 or more of crew.

Hi All,
We are a group of six (5 adults / 1 child) looking for recommendations for a nice beach day in Antigua and are considering either NCL's Beach Escape or a resort for the day (beach Limerz? or other suggestions?).
We were contemplating NCL's excursion but read somewhere that it goes to Runaway Beach? Also heard Runaway beach has an odor? is dirty? Despite the discount on the NCL excursion (total cost with transfers, and lunch equals $240 for the six of us), I have my reservations about the NCL excursion...
We're looking for a nice beach, loungers, umbrellas, shade, and passive things to do: walk, look for shells, etc.
Food / drink is not really important.
Any recommendations would be very helpful.
Thank you,
