  1. Unless you're really interested in staying forward, not much point in changing cabin assignment. No matter what you have to move and the process is the same. Of course no harm in asking to stay where you are but the odds are slim.
  2. I don't know where to start. 1, Do you seriously think US customs is concerned about someone buying a watch for a friend and calling it "re-sale"? Thanks for the laugh. We've been on 40+ Caribbean cruises, taking multiple swiss watches along (Omega, Breitling, etc) each trip and buying new ones also, NOT ONCE has customs ever looked at a single watch. 2. "Many" watches in the Caribbean being knock offs: Maybe in straw markets or whatever, not in reputable jewelry stores. Most stores are authorized dealers for what they sell. OP - do some research on jewelry stores where you're going in the Bahama's. But generally speaking St. Thomas, St. Martin and others are the best for both selection and price.
  3. I thought the same thing, what does one accumulate on a ship that would have the trash cans "overflowing" 🙂
  4. Interesting point about hotels. We've actually come to like the not daily service. We spend 1-2 weeks at various hotels in Florida through the winter and now like not having the daily service, it's just nice to not wonder when they'll show up 🙂 And just schedule the days we want. That said, if the afternoon service is discontinued on the ships we'll miss it.
  5. Not to worry, they're on sale 365 days a year. They just occasionally change the name of the sale. Bottom line price just moves up and down a little, but it's always a sale.
  6. Warm. Maybe storms, maybe not. Maybe rough seas, maybe not.
  7. We were on Jewel, Symphony and Grandeur this past winter. MDR and Windjammer food is definitely not what it used to be. Pretty much average/acceptable at best. Windjammer on Symphony was CHAOS every time we checked it out. So were the elevators - wait time was forever and always packed. We walked a lot of stairs.
  8. Then they must have not played music as usual. There is ALWAYS noise near the centrum on Radiance class ships.....
  9. No matter what anyone says, there is definitely a possibility of noise issues on Radiance class ships if your cabin is near the centrum, Period. They sometimes close the doors, which obviously proves it's an issue.
  10. Easy answer - taxi. Not worth messing around with shuttles or uber to save a few bucks. Jump in a taxi and go 🙂
  11. Yep. It was an average roast beef sandwich pre-pandemic, I'm sure it's an average roast beef sandwich now.
