How early do I need to get in line for M Theory? And is either the early or late show less busy than the other?

Many thanks, have a wonderful time, I guess you've just set sail, have a cocktail for me.

I plan on going. It is listed on two days and both a late and early show each day. I'll let you know when I go to it. Thanks!

@breadandbutter posted requesting information about the shows onboard; type, must see, and suggestions. Enjoy as many different food options as you can, definitely one of the best features of Mardi Gras along with the new bars. Rudi's Seagrill will be hard to book the more capacity increases, heard it has been approaching sold out status at times.

    I pre-booked Rudi's and Steakhouse 😊

I have used the BinaxNOW emed tests and am familiar with how they work. This time, I will be using them for my 2 kids who are 12 and 9. Both are vaccinated.

I know that when I did the test for myself, I logged into my account and showed my ID. My kids obviously don't have accounts or IDs so will I still use my account but then state somewhere that I am actually doing the test for a minor? Their information needs to show up on the results of course.

Just curious how exactly this works with minors and if anyone has experience with this.

You have to set them up under your navica account. You will show your ID when doing their tests. When you go to the ap to scan the test, it will ask which member on your account the test is for.

  4. Sea day today. Ship is trucking, moving fast and windy conditions made for no slides or skyride. Captain changed Cozumel to a 1 pm-10 pm port call tomorrow. Ship still seems low capacity to me. Plenty of chairs on lido earlier and no long lines at food venues (that I saw). We, of course  have eaten too much. Brunch, Bonsai sushi, Guy's, and Jijis plus candy and hot chocolate and ice cream. Just ordered pizza delivery. My son got a haircut at the spa today. They did a great job and I politely declined the upsells. Lots of people dressed up and taking pictures.  Alchemy packed. Guest services line short. The NYE celebration must have been epic cause Kyndal sounded tired all day, lol.

  5. Once the line started moving, we were on-board and done with muster within 30 minutes. Ate at Jiji's, which is always good. Our room steward is Kadek and he is amazing. We are in interior mid-ship on deck 2 and I can tell we are booking it trying to make up lost time. Definitely some movement tonight. We were tired, so missed the NYE festivities. Probably better since Cheers doesn't start until today, lol. Ship (so far) does not seem anywhere near capacity. I have only seen 2 people unmasked, but several with masks below their noses. It's always those people hacking up a lung while they pass you 🙄 . Anyway, sea day today. If I find out capacity, I'll post it.

Saw a commercial for Carnival last night on TV.  Several pictures of people on the Bolt, then an overhead view of the Mardi Gras..  Only lasted about 15 seconds but it's the first time I've seen a Carnival commercial in years.

They must be on a media blitz to counteract the CDC announcement.  Last night I saw 10 of those commercials on Food Network alone!

I’ll be on board as well!  I was originally worried about capacity but they said it’s greatly decreased in the last week.

And per the Facebook group, a chunk more canceled the last couple of days after testing positive and after CDC recommendations yesterday. Someone emailed PVP about capacity and got a response of 50-60% before this latest round of cancelations.

Yes definitely want to hear how things go.  We are booked in Havana Cabains for Jan 22 cruise.  Will be RVing in Galveston the whole month of January so no travel issues as we will be 3 miles from the pier.  I am concerned about the Covid stuff going on right now though especially with the new recommendation that vaccinated as well as Vaccinated shouldn’t cruise the CDC put out.  We are getting a bit nervous based on some other stories about testing positive after off the ship or testing and then ending up in Quarantine on ship, shows being cancelled and other events being cancelled even elegant night due to covid on ship.  Hope you find out differently as I really want to sail but it is getting really concerning.

    I'll keep you posted 😊
