Can the internet packages on NCL be shared among different devices or do you have to purchase a different plan for each device?

Thanks for the input, definitely leaning towards Breakaway from New Orleans.

Okay, bear with me...trying to decide on an NCL cruise for late March ‘19. We have done RC and Carnival, wanting to give NCL a try. We are looking at the Epic from Port Canaveral, Pearl from Tampa, and Breakaway from New Orleans. First choice on departure port is by far New Orleans...it’s closer drive (about 6 hrs instead of 9-10 to Tampa or Orlando), and we love spending a day or two in New Orleans before a cruise. It’s a tie on the others. First choice on itinerary is by far the Epic from PC....stops at private island in Bahamas and Grand Cayman (our Favorite). All are W. Caribbean. Least favorite itinerary looks like Breakaway from New Orleans(due to Belize and Costa Maya). So it may come down to the ship. Obviously I’ve read mixed reviews on all, especially the Epic. We will have our kids w us who will be 8 & 12 at the time. I’ve seen lots of complaints of long waits and making reservations for the shows and stuff on the mega ships so that might push us to the Pearl. Just really don’t know. Price is about the same for all. Would love to hear people’s pr s and come on these since we have never cruised NCL before. Also, the bathroom setup on the Epic looks weird to me but is it better that way?? Thanks

We had heard it had happened and saw them cleaning up the aftermath, but this is bad. Sorry this happened to you. When we got on the ship we noticed that our toilet kept slowly trickle-filling up way past the normal point; we just got used to flushing it every time we went by the cabin and every two hours or so in the cabin :-/
Were you compensated any extra, like another whopping $50 cabin credit?
I'm working on it. I have more pictures with more disgusting stuff too.

I would bet you are right about the half full/half empty thing. Some people just live to complain. If you follow John Heald at all, you’ll see that there are a bunch of people who do nothing but complain about Carnival stuff. It’s a shame that some people just can’t be pleased.
In fairness, I’m sure I would be disappointed too if lots of things were broken and there were workers making noise overnight. But at the same time, you have to decide to relax and try to enjoy your vacation.
The ship will get better. The staff will improve (or get enough complaints that they’ll be let go). Life goes on. Grab a fruity drink and relax.

Just got off this piece of junk today from the first cruise after dry dock. This ship needs to go to the boneyard. Didn't get to board til about 11pm first day. Total nightmare, poor communication!! Ship was completely filthy. Cold showers. Had the stuff closed half the time. Last day our room flooded from the bathroom and we had to grab up all our stuff and get our before everything got soaked. We did get moved but had to split up into 2 rooms for 2. Awful!! Just an awful.

I highly doubt they would pay the astronomical fees that would be required for them to show a ppv event. Bars, restaurants, hotels, etc have to pay a lot more for ppv than we do at home.

It will be cold, maybe in the 30's. It could even snow. (unlikely but it is in the middle of winter). People come to FL all the time in the winter, thinking that it is always hot. PC is in the middle, so most likely it will be in the low 50's to the 70's, but it drops often below 50 at night.
I will bet $100,000 it will not be snowing on NYE in central Florida.

We stayed at the Sheraton Ft Lauderdale Beach a few years ago. I think it has changed names now(B resorts?) It was nice, right on the beach and convenient to some grocery stores. Can't remember for sure if we walked but there was a Walgreens very close and a grocery store not too far. Short cab rides at the most.

I would do San Diego and La Jolla, very nice and much more laid back than LA.

We will be on a Bahamas cruise in October, booked a day pass at the Hilton. Does anyone know if they allow smoking on the beach at the British Colonial Hilton? I love a drink and a smoke while sitting on the beach. The website just says 100% non-smoking. Didn't know if that meant all rooms/grounds or just the rooms are all non smoking. And please, I know smoking is bad for me so I don't need anyone telling me I don't need to smoke.

We got our credit back on the credit card when we cancelled in January. Just wondering how long the future cruise credit took to get applied to our booking. Thanks

We had a cruise planned last March but had to cancel. We cancelled prior to full payment date and we received an email stating that they gave us a credit for future cruise credit of our deposit minus $50(which would be $49 pp because we booked at $99 deposit). Anyway, last week I submitted the form to apply the amount to a cruise booked for this October. How long for that to show up on my cruise info. Said 3-5 days but it's been a week now.

I could be wrong but I think when we used that plan this was the only option. In other words, Couldn't have bought it for 2 devices if we wanted to. Like I said, not sure, but I remember it that way.

There's thousands of things to do in Orlando. Just depends on what your interests are and your budget. Assuming you don't want to do a theme park?
We have been to cirque du soleil at Disney and Blue Man Group at Universal. Both were great. And you don't have to pay to get into the parks to go to either.
If it were me I'd go to the Blue Man show and walk around Universal CityWalk for a while.

Noticed tonight that a lot of the Elation's upgrades are now listed on Carnival's website as "coming soon", including waterworks.

I have played something similar in casinos. It's just one of those games to make you feel like you have some sort of an edge but ultimately only increases the odds in favor of the house.

We had to do this a few months ago, our credit card was refunded (other than deposit amount) within 2-3 days.

We are booked on the 3rd cruise after Elation comes out of dry dock. I checked our itinerary and it also now shows balcony as an option. We have 4 people and I checked but it said sold out, put in 2 guests and it looked like it would have had cabins available, could not see cabin #'s or choose your room though. Maybe we will soon find out more about what all will be done in dry dock

Beach at Harvest Caye
in Belize
Posted
Wondering how nice the beach is at Harvest Caye? I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews. Is the water clear like you would imagine a typical Caribbean beach? White sand? Rocky? I know it’s a purpose built/commercial type port and not really worried about that....Just want a nice beach to sit on for the day. In many of the pictures I’ve seen it looks a little murky.
