  1. Agreed, although they were still loading luggage off this morning (I wasn't sure when that was going to happen). The scanning of cards was also fast and orderly, and the groups were spread out. It probably also helped that a lot of people were spending at least another night in Quebec, so they were in no rush.
  2. That was the easiest disembarkation - we just walked down and off, grabbed our bags, and got on the bus.
  3. Good morning from Quebec. We are up in the Crow's Nest waiting to be called. We are take a ship offered bus to the Montreal Airport. Our tag time is 7:45. We had breakfast in the Lido around 6:30, after being jolted out of bed by the Captain's announcement at 6:00 am that disembarkation was starting.
  4. They take either, but it's $5 either way. I wouldn't get Canadian cash just for that. I had some from about four trips to Canada ago and used that.
  5. One last dinner: Spring roll & salmon trio (not pictured): Mushroom strudel: Ice cream with hot fudge:
  6. We ate lunch in the Lido and then went back out. Here's a few more pictures from our second walk:
  7. None of the restaurants were speaking to us, so we headed back to the ship. We walked passed this pool-bar thing that looked fascinating, but alas, we kept going:
  8. And then we walked up to the Citadel - which we didn't realize you couldn't just walk into ... You need a tour. So we skipped that and then just headed down the boardwalk stairs.
  9. And then we up the funicular - highly recommend it. Cash only, $5 a person:
  10. So going back, we got off, got on the shuttle, got out of the port area, and walked towards Old Town:
  11. Quebec City is lovely - definitely a highlight. We walked about 30,000 steps, so we are exhausted, but it was well worth it.
  12. I took so many photos today ... I'll post more tomorrow but here are a few:
  13. It's a short walk from the shuttle - maybe 7 to 10 minutes. And the shuttle is only like five minutes. It's very easy to do without an excursion.
  14. Overnighting on the last night feels very weird. Like, it feels like we are getting off the ship today, even though we aren't.
  15. We ended up taking the shuttle because it was right there when we got off. It doesn't really leave you "in town." It just takes you out of the secure port area and drops you kind of by Quai 21.
  16. Can confirm, the Zuiderdam is sitting at Quai 30 (I'm on board now). It looks like it has all the facilities for embarkation.
  17. Note - we are at Quai 30, not 20/21, so we are not in Old Town. There are free shuttle buses, but we are also going to investigate just walking. Balcony views:
