  1. I do need an accessible cabin. I have limited mobility and use a power wheelchair. An accessible cabin is necessary in order to get through the doorway as well as to get around in the room. A regular cabin’s door is too narrow and there is not enough room to turn the wheelchair around inside. Additionally, there are grab bars in the bathroom and a seat in the shower that I need. I usually have to book well in advance as accessible rooms usually go fast. I would really appreciate it if people who do not need one would refrain from booking them. As long as you can get around ok, please leave the accessible cabin for those who really need them.

  2. I doubt my cruising behavior will change, though I will appreciate it a lot more. As for what I'm looking forward to most --- Everything ... just Everything! We don't cruise until next March, but I am really looking forward to it. We are taking basically the same cruise that we had to miss last January to the ABC islands.

So, if Celebrity waits until a ship reaches international waters to ask for verification, no problem. But asking passengers as soon as they board violates Florida's (stupid) law.

So passengers are told ahead of time, that if they do not have proof of vaccination when they are required to so it (after reaching international waters) they will be confined to their cabin. No exceptions. How many unvaccinated would go knowing that.

You only need one package- so just list the occupant who is first on the reservation.  All three will be able to get pictures taken either together or individually if in the same cabin.  Since you limited yourselves to 12 pictures, I don't know how that works-

With the unlimited package, other people may be included in your picture as long as the picture is taken and includes one or more passengers in the booked cabin.  We paid $100 for all (unlimited) digital prints!  The best deal!  We took hundreds of pictures- but didn't want the hard copies and they would take up too much space and weight in luggage.  Consider this option in the future. A real bargain!    If you are having a problem, call Celebrity's main number and they will direct you.

So, how do they know it is you?

The waiters will bring you a signature dish of the other restaurant if you ask for it.

I didn't know that. That's great! I have traditional seating, and there are a couple of dishes from other restaurants that I would love to try. If I can have them without having to book into a different restaurant I will be thrilled.

Thankfully, this turned out not to be too much of a problem, as Celebrity had paid for shuttle buses to take us (without charge) to and from the ship to the center of the Lower Town.  The buses ran pretty much continuously during the day, and we found the waits to be minimal.  So the main downside of being at wharf 102 was that, at night, you couldn’t just walk off the ship right into the Lower Town and have dinner, or see the city lit up, etc.  You’d have to take the shuttle.

Did you notice if any any of these buses were wheelchair accessible?

This subject comes up from time to time, but the answer in general is yes, you can connect to the stateroom's flat panel television HDMI port to connect a blu-ray player, PC, PlayStation, and even an iPad (with a special Lightning to HDMI converter cable).

Sometimes the TVs are set to Hotel mode which prevents you from accessing the TVs controls to switch to a different video source (e.g. HDMI 1) and sometimes the TVs can be switched with no problem.

Anybody tried this on the Edge?

  8. We have early seating for dinner. It’s been a while since I cruised with an assigned time. When is a good time to get to the dining room? I’m in a wheelchair, so it can take me a little longer to get in place and it can be difficult to maneuver if there are a lot of people moving around. I was thinking of getting there early, but I’m not sure when the dining room opens.
