  1. I think you are correct. I just changed travel agents and saw this code on my new reservation. I see the following on my confirmation from NCL. I assume “sales” means the TA purchased the truffles, strawberries, and water. What about the wine? It’s a Haven cabin but not an owner’s suite. Is this something the TA would have purchased also?
  2. I go to the concierge desk and ask them to add tips to my account. I have to have the full name of the person I’m tipping. We don’t drink, so no bar tab. I’m trying to figure out the best way to spend my OBC now that I finally went ahead and bought the stock.
  3. So if I add on a tip for the butler or concierge, I can use my shareholder OBC for this? If so, that’s a game changer.
  4. I hadn’t thought of putting one platinum in each cabin. We sail in 17 days, so I think it’s too late. Otherwise I would have tried to move the Bronze passenger up to guest #1 or 2 in the cabin with the platinums. I don’t think NCL wants us to play musical cabins this late in the game. I appreciate the suggestion though because I am trying to plan another multi-cabin cruise and will definitely try to place a platinum in each cabin if I can convince everyone from this trip to join us on the new one I’m planning. Yes, you understand my proposed plan correctly. Thank you for sharing your experience. Now I know that I can go ahead and buy the 4 meal SDP for the Bronze guest and follow this chart once we are on the cruise so I don’t mess up my plan.
  5. There are five of us traveling. Two platinum and one bronze in one cabin. When I booked it I didn’t think to put the bronze latitude guest as one of the first two in the cabin, so the two platinums have the free at sea 3 SDP package plus the two latitude coupons. The two gold guests have their own cabin and each have 3 free at sea SDP meals. I was thinking of buying a 4 SDP for the bronze guest and using the two platinum coupons as shown below. Will this work? I think we’d all like to eat dinner together every night instead of the two platinum guests having two additional specialty meals.
  6. NCLH says to black out the account number so I wanted to do that. I received an email addressed to me with the trade information so I included a redacted screenshot of that email along with a redacted screenshot of the main page of my E*trade which shows my name and that I have NCL shares, but not how many. That should work.
  7. The transaction finally went through on E*trade but none of the views that I can see on their website show my name so that NCLH knows that I’m the owner of the account. What am I missing? I’m 19 days away from my trip so I want to get the form in ASAP. Thank you.
  8. I received the same coupon. I’ve already done that exact cruise. NCL, give me a coupon for a cruise I haven’t been on!
  9. I’m curious, too. Gian was the concierge on our May 2022 and April 2023 Bliss cruises.
  10. Thank you for letting us know what you decided. Enjoy your cruise and report back!
  11. I was told I’d have to wait, just like @prov2727, evidently. I don’t think I’ll get a new invoice, but a letter like @davencl because I’m past final payment.
  12. Depending on the weather, you might not get a lot of use out of the Vibe on an Alaska cruise. If you think this will be your only chance to sail to Alaska, go for the itinerary you want.
  13. The 4.25% is as of today. The fine print says rates are subject to change daily. I’ll have to keep the tab open and follow it.
  14. Thank you for sharing this! It’s exactly what I was looking for. I was not aware of the six day or longer requirement, so I can’t do a short cruise. It’s also nice to know that it’s split between the first two guests only.
  15. 4.25% for a savings account? Wow! What’s the minimum deposit?
  16. I looked into this, but it’s not feasible right now. Thank you for the suggestion.
  17. Thanks for mentioning Fidelity and Schwab. I was not aware of that they were commission free, as is E*Trade. Good to have options.
  18. With the stock price dropping, I’m thinking of biting the bullet and finally buying stock to get the OBC for my two upcoming cruises. Does anyone have any experience with using E*trade to buy stock? This might be the easiest way to do it. Any negatives? It looks like it takes three business days to find your account, though. Hopefully the price stays low until then and goes up afterwards.
  19. Thank you for clarifying that I’ll see it after the cruise. No need to keep looking for it until then!
  20. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I called my TA and asked for the FCC. She said NCL put in the request, and I’ll get an email in 5-6 days from NCL. I don’t know if I’ll end up using it because this is my second cruise this year, but at least I’ll have it if I am able to cruise again. Will I see the FCC in my NCL account?
  21. My February cruise (past PIF date) has gone down by about $900. If they will give me FCC for the difference, how will that be distributed between the three passengers in my cabin? $300 each or $900 to the lead passenger? One reason it’s gone down is the third passenger is now free (had been $98). I don’t have any cruises scheduled for after that cruise, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth asking. Maybe one of the other passengers in my cabin would want the FCC. If it all goes to me (I’m the lead passenger), could I give it to one of my traveling companions for a future cruise? IIRC I have one year from the ending date of the cruise to use the FCC and sail. Am I correct?
