Yes. Passengers dirty. The crew have been in their Covid bubble for several months. Many coming from the Joy in specially chartered planes. The crew still have to wear masks any time they are near the dirty passengers. And the Covid protocols minimize the places and times dirty passengers can be in crew areas. Having dirty passengers wandering through crew spaces not allowed under current protocols. 
 

Just for reference, the Chinese buffet in our town has been self serve for a while.

FWIW Royal also cancelled their BtS tours last month also. 
 

For the past couple of years, the Dinner has been cancelled on our Alaska cruises due to the lack of interest. 

Interesting that they still have the self serve buffet but won’t do the Behind the Scenes Tour! 

What kind of room are you in? So no behind the scenes tour for Platinum? I was really looking forward to it on this ship. 

How hard is it to make dining reservations onboard? Are things booked up?

Yes I am very familiar with the song! 😂 you arrive at 6:00 am. You will be depart the ship after it receives clearance.

Not sure why, but I tend to prefer port side when I sail, but for this trip we're headed aft for the first time.

I am friends with a Cruise Director on Instagram.  I sent him a message asking him. He said assignments haven’t been made yet. 

Does anyone know who will be the Captain or Cruise Director for the Encore in August? So excited to be able to cruise again!!!

Same here. My June 28th cruise was cancelled last week. I received most of the money back today. Missing about $500. I was shocked to receive any money this fast. Wonder when the rest of the money will show up? Has this happened to others?

I only get it because I am in the same situation.  They canceled through June 11 and ours leaves on June 12.  We have flights going out a few days prior (Rome) which we also purchased through them.  We do not want to shift at this point, but would rather rebook when we feel like it.

mic 123! You are the winner!! This is exactly what I was talking about. I am extremely aggravated with Celebrity for dragging their feet. No way I will “lift & shift” now. Don’t trust them as people can still book cruises in June with them. They know they won’t be cruising!!! I’m not going to let them hold on to my money for no knows how long!!

This isn’t a joke topic. This is a serious question. It’s extremely frustrating that they haven’t extended the cancellations.  According to their site, they are sailing in 26 days. That’s ridiculous. They need to go ahead and extend the cancellations. I find it absolutely awful that you can still book a cruise with them in June. “It’s tough to be gentle on this one”. Yes, it’s tough for me to be gentle on them! I want my money back! 

I’m on the 6/28 cruise on the Equinox. I highly doubt that this cruise is really going to sail. Just wondering when they will extend the cancellations!!!

Was on the Breakaway last year for a Baltic cruise. Rock of Ages was FANTASTIC. Saw it on Broadway when it first came out. It was better on the Breakaway. Burn the Floor was also excellent. Loved Syd Norman’s as well.

LOVE the pics. Thanks so much for posting them. Did you bid on an upgrade? I put a bid in for my August cruise but haven't heard back yet. Keeping fingers crossed. I was successful last year with a bid on the Breakaway Baltic cruise. 

Had a FANTASTIC time on the Breakaway last year out of Copenhagen for a Baltic cruise. Had a balcony room, beverage package & dining package. Food was delicious. Loved Le Bistro & Moderno the best. Syd Norman's was our hangout each night. Rock of Ages is excellent! Roberto was our cruise director. Loved him.
