  1. If the percentages stayed the same: Housekeeping - $5.00($7.00 for suites) Dining Team - $7.91 Alternative Services - $3.09
  2. I don't have an unlimited data plan. I have a 5GB plan. My mom is on my account, and she doesn't even have a smartphone to be able to use the data plan. I've offered more than once to get her a smartphone, but she refuses every time. Also, I have paid to be able to use the wifi from the moment I get on the ship until the moment I get off. I want what I have paid for.
  3. Everyone seems to be forgetting or not realizing that you get your folio number when you get your card. To get your folio number before that, go to Guest Services.
  4. Did your table mate say if she had to pay for the medical center visit since the accident was outside of her control?
  5. The lowest minimum bet I have seen on penny slots since 2016 is $0.20. The minimum bet is actually one cent per line. The lowest minimum bet I saw on the Valor in late November 2022 was $0.30. There was no penny slot machine that allowed you to play just one line. The only one line machines cost at least $0.25(likely more than that). There were no $0.08 machines.
  6. You can go to deck three to see the water. I don't go for the musical acts. I don't go to the dance club. I don't drink alcohol or coffee. Because of these things, I never notice rowdiness since I spend alot of time in my cabin. On the Valor, I only go to the welcome show, love and marriage show, and the Deal or No Deal show. I hate America Rocks and Country Road. I have never heard any of the songs in Country Road. Epic Rock is just so much better than America Rocks. They aren't even in the same league. On my last cruise on the Valor, service in the dining room was extremely slow, but the food wasn't bad. I don't eat steak. I was about 10 minutes late on the third night(8:15pm seating) for reasons I don't remember, so I expected to get my food later than the others in my section. I wasn't late by choice. By late, I mean 10 minutes past the official start time. The doors likely opened about 5 minutes before the official start time. At 9:05pm, the people that arrived on time still didn't have their entrees. There were two booths, one 6 or 8 person table, and one 2 person table(my table) in my section. There were only 7 people total. I didn't receive the first of my two appetizers until 8:50pm. I got tired of waiting, so I left and never went back. I haven't witnessed any discrimination or hatred out of New Orleans or Mobile. I did, however, see about half of the theater walk out when the two guys were singing during the welcome show on the Inspiration on the 8/15/16 sailing out of Long Beach.
  7. The time on the river will be cooler at any time of year, even if New Orleans isn't. I only cruise out of the South November-February because of the generally cooler temperatures. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With the exception of late December 2013 - late October 2014(southern Missouri), I have lived here since late August 2004. Humidity sucks. I was born in the winter and grew up in places that got snow every year(Memphis(TN), La Vista(NE), Mesquite(TX), Mauldin(SC), and Simpsonville(SC)). I can pack less clothes than a summer cruise since I won't be sweating as much. Unless I was given one heck of a deal(free or nearly free), I will only cruise from the west coast in the summer.
  8. There were a couple classes on the Freedom 1/15/22 sailing. I was on the Radiance 8/29/22 sailing and Valor 11/28/22 sailing, and there weren't any classes.
  9. I would prefer Sprite, but Sierra Mist and orange juice doesn't taste terrible. I order a virgin mimosa at the diamond and platinum party before ordering a peach smoothie. I don't know what a Sierra Mist mimosa would taste like if you added alcohol. I don't drink alcohol.
  10. There is currently a 40% off subscribe and save coupon on Amazon for the 12ct Sink Suds that comes with 2 sink stoppers. It is $7.41($12.35 - $4.94). You can just cancel the subscription after delivery.
  11. Or you could get a 3-pk of Tide sink detergent from Bed Bath and Beyond for $1.39(at least in Baton Rouge). Three 3-pks would be $4.17. The total would be $3.33 after three 20% off coupons.
  12. Venezia is Italian for Venice. On a somewhat related side note, Firenze is Italian for Florence.
  13. Wifi prices have gone up twice this year. The value plan went from $10.20 per day to now $14.45 per day. Using the discount would be more expensive than what many people already have.
  14. Is the lounge in New Orleans open to platinum/damond again or still just suites?
  15. That email address is legitimate. It is where all the emails other than cabin confirmation emails come from. All of the marketing, policy updates, excursion, and internet package emails I have received have been coming from that address since sometime in 2020. I don't know about pre-cruise food and beverages since my last purchase was in December 2017.
  16. By safe, I mean I have never had any damage using non-concentrated Dawn. My mom and I randomly found our last two batches(we shared) at Ollie's Bargain Outlet. This was a few years after every major store in Baton Rouge stopped carrying non-concentrated Dawn in any size.
  17. Now if only cabins other than captain's suites had a second toilet. In my case, deluxe oceanviews are pointless to book when an extra toilet is far more useful to me than a second shower or tub.
  18. Non-concentrated Dawn is safe on clothes. I don't known if they even make it anymore. I buy every bottle a store has if it is ever on the shelf. I don't know about shampoo or shower gel, but these work. They are currently $1.39 for a 3pk in the Bed Bath and Beyond travel toiletry section, $1.11 with one of their 20% off coupons. If the store allows you to group multiple items together to reach $15 to use the $5 off $15 coupon, each 3pk would be $0.94(11 sets). https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/tide-3-count-travel-liquid-detergent-sink-packets/1014376747?brandId=2397
  19. Yes they have, but it isn't guaranteed. It is usually excursions and the spa with a 10-20% discount. 20% is rare.
  20. I only play Skee-Ball. It is $1.50 per game or 4 games for $4.50. The arcade is a redemption arcade. The number of tickets needed for a prize is overpriced just like land-based redemption arcades. The minimum amount needed is 75 tickets. The next two levels are 150 tickets and 300 tickets. I don't remember after that. The plastic bubble containers that the small prizes come in are a pain in the a** to open. If you are getting a bunch of bubble containers, bring a bag. I had to use the front of the shirt I was wearing as a bag once because I forgot to bring a bag into the arcade. Thankfully my mom was sitting outside the arcade with a bag, so I didn't have to go far. Hopefully the Magic uses digital tickets instead of physical tickets. The physical ticket counting machines never count the tickets properly. It shorted me about 20 tickets on both the Freedom and the Radiance. The counting machines also can't count single pieces. Each piece is worth two tickets. On the Radiance, the strip in the Skee-Ball ticket dispenser ran out, but the dispenser didn't automatically start spitting out the next strip. This happened twice on the same day less than 20 minutes apart. I had to use the arcade ship phone to get a crew member to open the machine.
  21. You can use it on any sea day. If the ship doesn't offer a sea day brunch, it can be used in the dining room for breakfast or lunch any day the dining room is open for those meals. Only the gold drink is limited to the last day of the cruise.
  22. Is there an automatic gratuity or is it just $10?
  23. I believe boarding zone numbers are assigned based on the check in time you choose, not your loyalty status.
  24. Is that the cereal crusted French toast that used to be on the sea day brunch menu?
