  1. Well I’ve now ploughed my way through the survey by dint of using the Concierge laptop! It seems Apple devices don’t like the site’s security or lack of and won’t connect. Abysmal waste of time, just reinforcing how divorced from the frontline Os back offices are!
  2. I think what you are asking about is why the deduction for doing your own flights is so low when compared with the cost of flights you have checked online? We are booked on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale next year, not withO, saw the price of the cruise lines flights and decided to look for our own. Couldn’t match cruise lines price, then I asked ourTA and she got us the exact flights we had looked at MAN-LHR-MIA on Virgin for almost exactly half the price we could book ourselves. She told us these are special cruise flight prices.
  3. We noticed on here that the end of cruise review is now online and advertised in Currents. I looked out for the announcement which came about two days ago and have been trying to access the site since then without any success. Neither my husband or I have been able to get past the login page. Hooding your date of birth from the drop down menu is practically impossible, then you need a password press login and after several minutes an error message about a time out. Surely O aren’t trying to stop us possibly commenting adversely??
  4. Not being sarcastic but have you tried ringing Oceania and asking them? Our Loyalty OBC always appears on our invoice immediately but have no idea when it shows up in the account to be used as we rarely use O excursions.
  5. I think there are two issues here, one is missing ports at short notice and the other changes made in advance and not communicated. On the current Vista cruise we have a lot of the second, we have 5 tender ports. Oceania both online in the itinerary details and directly when telephone for clarification by people on our roll call said there were no tender ports. To anyone who knew some of the ports this was obvious tosh, at least a couple of the ports have no docking facilities no matter the size of ship or whether anyone else was in port. Also the changes to schedule were not communicated ahead of time and are quite drastic in one case. As to missing a tender port I am happy to believe the weather was to blame, the Captain actually said it was due to heavy swells, These are not visible, unlike the whitecaps caused by wind which the armchair weather experts said were not too bad. Another line we have travelled on in the past said they abandoned late and overnight stops as so few passengers made use of them it was not economically viable.
  6. Yes it was Scenic, must have misremembered about the drinks, I just “took agin them” 😁😀
  7. Good to hear from you, I see you are still working hard on our behalf! Yes we have a Riviera cruise rebooked from 2020 in May this year on the Main Nuremberg to Mainz and a few days in Frankfurt at the end. I really can’t believe ANYONE misses driving on the M6 😀😀😀🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️
  8. Hi, English person here😀 We have travelled with Riviera a few times and rate them highly. We tried Scenic first and didn’t like their cabins, they had the electric window on the balcony that came down to railing level but was very noisy if you were at all worried about waking fellow passengers, and was also accessed from a door in a window in your cabin. On the Riviera ships the whole window slides open across the hill between you and the next cabin leaving you with an open wall so you can watch the world pass by. The food on Scenic was marginally better, but drink prices were higher. Tours were very similar. Prices were a lot lower on Riviera. We have met a few Americans onboard but not many, getting more the last time we sailed with was Pre Covid There are photos of one of their ships here https://www.flickr.com/gp/jobloor/Bq438h7AN5
