Is there any dedicated Suite area at Coco cay like there is one on Labadee?

Drinking age is 21 and they are very strict about it

Try Downtown the brickell area. There are many Hotels there to choose from. most brands like
Hilton and Marriott are there.
Lots of restaurants, shopping all in walking distance. you can even take a walk on the sea front and enjoy
seeing boats going in and out of the Miami river.

No one knows if and when there will be a sale. You can always book through your cruise planner
and if you see a price reduction, Cancel your original purchase of the package and re-book at the
reduced price. Its all very simple. The trick is to monitor the prices on a regular basis.

You Tube Trinidad Jouvert and Harts Carnival. They would give you an idea of what to expect.
I play Carnival every year. It's serious fun.

Unfortunately Carnival Monday Morning is Jouvert. A Mud and body paint Carnival that starts at 2am.
BY the time your ship docks it will look like an ugly mass of drunk muddy humans gyrating on one another.
By Midday the scene changes and the dressy costumes come out a little.
Carnival Tuesday is the when the real beautiful costumes come out.
I would advise you to stay on the ship untill noon then you can walk around Town and see some of the costumes.
Trinidad Carnival is not like rio. It is more built around people participating.

I see navigator as being there April 29th on one of the more popular t/a sites as well as on cruise cal
This is correct. Originally Navigator was scheduled to visit Cococay twice on this 4 day cruise which departs
on 27th April. They have altered the itinerary to a day at sea instead of visiting Cococay a second time.
Depart Miami 27th, Nassau 28th, Cococay, 29th , cruising 30th. Miami 1st.
I am booked on that cruise so that's how I have the details.

Just my opinion. Giving the distance and so many things can go wrong if doing Disney I would only
do it through the cruise line. That will take away time related stress.
Which park is a personal decision. If young kids are involved I would say Magic Kingdom, If its adults
I would go with Epcot.
Disney springs has been developed a lot but its mostly about restaurants, Bars and shopping.
WE have never been lucky to get discount tickets for a one day pass.

Ok so settled for a hotel by the airport due to early departure, so will just take a cab to somewhere for the day to enjoy shopping and eating ect ..... so what’s the best district to visit to walk and shop
If shopping is a high priority you can have a look at the courtyard Marriott at Dolphin Mall.
Huge mall with many eating options. The hotel is located in a corner of the car park so short
walk across the car park to the hotel.
Its about 15 minutes away from the airport.

Unfortunately cruising has changed over the years. If you have something you do not want to loose don't put it
on your door. A cruise ship hall way is pretty much the same as a public street in a city these days.

Have flown in to both many times. I will take MIA over FLL any day.
Then again I am flying in on an international flight so my reasons may not affect you.

We stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse. Its the actual clock tower.
Fantastic Location.
We took a taxi to the ship. I believe it was about $20
The port is more in an office and industrial area so no nice hotels in that area.

Does Izumi on the Navigator have a hibachi grill?
Thanks fla gang
I recently saw an Izumi menu posted by someone who has sailed the new re-amped Navigator.
The Menu did not mention any hibachi options.
They did offer the Hot Rock which i was happy to see.
For the Navigator cruise I am booked on Unfortunately cruise planner is only offering a fixed menu for the pre paid option but once on board you can make a reservation and order a la carte.

104 and strangely enough it also works out to 104 posts per year since I joined CC.
I am Definitely in the minor league here.

Is there a specific location on Cococay where Cigar smokers can enjoy a smoke?
-
Hi. Yes there are lots of options based on your budget. If you look at Florida Departures here on CC
there are a few threads with discussions on hotels in Miami.
-
Once the ship has no issues and docks on time. The same should apply to MIA. Meaning a 11:30 flight will be just fine

It's a personal choice. Some do some do not. We do with TSA locks because we always fly to start our cruise.

Why is that? I will be doing the Deluxe Drink Package for the first time in November. There is probably a lot I don't know!
Because the souvenir glass is not included in the drinks package. You will be charged for the glass but it's yours to take home.

Looking forward to your review.

I have never seen traditional dining first seating as late as 6:30.
I have. If I didn't I would not have mentioned it.

Also to add to your questions not answered yet:
yes there are loungers.
yes there are cabanas. Some over water and some up the hill. Cabanas are NOT free. You can book one through your suite concerige if they do not show up on your cruise planner.

Hi, I am new to RCI and booked on a short cruise (5 nights) from Southampton next Oct. I chose Mytime dining when I booked and can see an option in the cruise planner to select my dining times, the only times available are 6.30 and 8.30pm. So should I book one of these for each night to ensure I get mytime dining? Can I then change it online in advance if I need to? Do I need to ask for a table for 2 or will it automatically give one as there are 2 of us?
Thanks in advance
It seems the times you are are seeing are traditional seating times. Are you sure your My Time Dining was confirmed? Some times you get wait listed as they only have a certain amount of my time dining spots. If you are sure your My Time dining is confirmed then you can book the available times or you can just walk up to the my time dining desk when you are ready to eat. You may have to wait a couple of minutes. Just say you want a table for two and that is what you will get.

To add to BlueHerons extensive list above, I highly recommend
Trulucks. Great menu.
