Barcelona is one of the easiest airports to do it yourself. It is only about 20 mins from Airport to centre of Barcelona and will cost approx 40 Euro. Again from the centre to the cruise port is a very short journey and will not be expensive. Hotels can be very expensive or reasonable...all depends on what you are looking for. We have stayed in Le Meridien which is a few steps away from Las Ramblas but have also stayed in one a lot cheaper.

If you look down you can see the lifeboat but if you look straight ahead its clear.

Stayed there a number of years ago. Beautiful hotel with main entrance just off Las Ramblas.

A taxi for 2 people is approx £120 compared with £90 for Princess transfers. The Premier Inn, West Quay, Southampton is beside the Cruise Port and a lot cheaper than the likes of the Sofitel. Maybe something for you to look at staying the night prior to the cruise in Southampton.

LNER goes from Kings Cross, London into Edinburgh. Make sure you choose a direct train (without any changes) it makes things so much easier when you have luggage. The direct journey takes approx 4hrs 30 mins. LNER have very good deals on 1st Class tickets if you book early (approx 12 weeks before journey). You can download their app and sign up for alerts for your journey. Sometimes it is cheaper to purchase two single tickets rather than a return ticket. The train goes into the centre of Edinburgh two minutes from Princes Street.

You can ask them to book you a flight the day before. My daughter is going on Odyssey end of July but they asked for flights two days before sailing and it was not a problem. They booked their own accommodation in Rome.

We are spending a couple of days in Rome prior to boarding Odyssey. We need to get Rapid Antigen Tests in Rome and wonder how easy it is to do this and can anyone recommend the best place. Thank you

Just booked Sky Princess for next year and have splashed out on a Full Suite. Do suite guests get free drinks for a couple of hours each evening in the Concierge Lounge. I'm not referring to Platinum/Elite Lounge. Keep seeing different answers online.
