Excited to hear your perspective on the Venezia. We are family cruising with the Grand Kids on June 19th on Venezia out of NY. Her first 8 day sailing. Can't wait to see you live tour videos.

27 days getting closer. in 6 days we get to see some folks boarding ship and can see what she looks like. Ya !!!

Can say i surely did not understand the mess that Carnival made of the swap out. Should have been a simpler process. Now i understand there maybe less of 1 type of cabin (upgrade someone) We called our PVP early and was asked to hold on for a week as there was nothing they could do until the cabin process was completed. That was when i saw my 2 cabin were no longer across from each other. 28 days at this point just looking forward to going.

We end up 1 deck lower on Venezia then we had booked on Magic. Had 2 rooms on Magic a balcony and an inside directly across, durning the Magic shuffle the balcony was down graded a deck. Had to call to get the 2 rooms set correctly again.

I am boarding on the 19th can't he just hang around a couple of days longer ?

It's been a fun adventure and design for both me and the Grand kids to this point. Just hoping we can get a good embarkation photo out of it.

The 2 different t-shirt designs have come in and look Great. Now just need to greet the Carnival Venezia on June 19th in NY. First time with us doing shirts and i has been fun and a time passer as we await cruise date.

Nice i was only hoping that you where not in Slytherin House. Although Snape was one of the Bravest Men Harry ever knew.

Please not silver & green. Yes the only trivia i look for on the ship is Harry Potter.

Interesting idea. My son designed the shirts and one of them is for the Carnival Venezia as we will be sailing on her June 19th her 2nd voyage under the Carnival umbrella.

Yes that's what where doing with 3 generation. Hoping the embarkation photo makes it all worth while. Although the grand kids were Very Excited to get their shirts. Now i just have to my sure they have them in 35 days.

DW and I are sailing along with our two Grand children and daughter. We are sailing on the Venezia out of NY on the 19th of June. I (Grampy) had 2 different cruise t-shirts made for Everyone. I want our embarkation photo to be in one of the shirts that say family cruise on it. Just wondering if i am acting over the top? It's the Grand Kids first cruise. ( yes i booked us the Dr. Suess breakfast as well)

yes just ask for the split and they will bring it to you. Don't be afraid

The free ice cream any time is the only reason i was able to get the Grandchildren on the cruise. LoL "Mom were going with Grampy to get coffee". They think their going to be pulling her leg.

Well Enjoy your training trip. Sounds like some Very Exciting locations. I am Very interested in the back half of your trip as i have 2 cabins on the Carnival Venezia's June 19th 8 day sailing. So looking forward to hearing and seeing about the ship and remodel. May 29th is circled on my calendar as the day boarding starts in Europe then June 3rd for my check in. Look forward to all your post and activities.

WoW DW and I very first cruise was on the Celebration. The photo of the Trolley bar sure hit home. Had the midnight buffet in their. You could go take pictures a half hour before. Great flash back Jamman.

We are all awaiting word on the refurbishment. Was a Costa cruise ship that Carnival is bringing to NY after they make some changes. First sailing is June 15th ( other then the transatlantic bring her to America ). Awaiting photos and info from those that sail on her early. I am booked on her 2nd sailing on June 19th and will be sharing what i see. Can't wait as 50 days to go.
