I saw this video or a similar one a long time ago and forgot about it. I was thinking more than one person wanted to share the soda package. Why else would you destroy your cup while still on the ship???? Anyway, if my chip falls off of my cup on my cruise next week, I am going to try this on my own insulated cup.

Do you think it would be safe for me to take the bus a a solo aging female?

Did you take this excursion? I am on a similar one with Royal and am wondering what to expect.

Thank you for your help! I am sailing with my 78 yo Mom and we had planned to go to Walgreens next Thursday for our sailing. I feel responsible for taking care of her and appreciate your post. I am so sorry this problem happened. Even finding out a week in advance was worrying me. Thanks again! Have a super wonderful cruise!!

Thank you, I am wondering what to do about my cruise next summer from Barcelona. I will have insurance, but do wonder about how successful I would be should I need to make a claim. Maybe if I booked Air2Sea and tried to get FCC and failed, I could fall back on the insurance. Thanks for helping me think this through. Life is always complicated. Today's uncertainties make it ever worse.

Did you call the Crown and Anchor number? I called about something else and the rep checked to see if the fare had dropped without me even asking.

Suite Embarkation in Seattle
luv2sailAgain replied to WxNerd's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We sailed in a suite on Ovation at the beginning of this month. Hopefully, my description will make sense to you. The port was very crowded. We were picked up at our airport area hotel at 9:00 via Seattle Express. I chose the first shuttle time available and because I was not sure how long it would take to get to the port. We placed our bags with someone at the front of the terminal. I didn't see the usual luggage carts and porters. But there were many suitcases at that spot. There was a port or RC representative standing there and we added ours to the mess. We did arrive much too soon at the port. It was right at 10 am and our boarding time was 11. However, there were maybe 30 or more people already in a switchback line and it kept steadily building. Around 10:30 signs for suites, The Key, and so forth were brought out. We didn't notice the new signs at first, other suite guests had already entered the line. We got out of the regular switchback line and moved to the shorter line. The suite line was at the doors of the building closest to the ship. About 10:30, we were let into the building at the same time that the longer line was let inside. There were more switchbacks for the longer line and ours was just linear. A very few people who must have been Star Class were escorted some time after entering the building. We waited about 10-15 minutes. When the embarkation process opened, the two lines alternated letting people up the escalator. From there, there was no separate line/area for suites. We checked in and were on the ship by 11:05. Hopefully, this will help you in some way. BTW now that I am thinking about the situation, there was a second line beside the suite line. I know it was for Star Class, but it may have included pinnacles as well. I don't remember the exact line for the Key. -
Walgreens NAAT Testing

Oh no, here we go again! This happened prior to our Alaskan cruise a few weeks ago. We are heading out on Allure in a couple weeks. I checked a few days ago and you could book a week in advance. Walgreens is so easy. I will keep an eye on it this week. -
Allure Solarium Bistro on Embarkation Day
luv2sailAgain replied to luv2sailAgain's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Great, thank you! Yes, we will be sailing on the 9th. We were in Alaska on the Ovation a couple weeks ago. It was very cold, rainy, and windy for a couple days. Now I am wondering about the opposite on Allure.🙂 I was wondering about the temperature of the Solarium while docked in FLL. I was thinking of packing my bathing suit in my carry on this time in order to enjoy the pool. We have the 11:00 am boarding time and was considering some pool time. But I wonder if the Solarium would be crazy hot when the ship is not in motion. Any thoughts? -
Western Med Ports thumbs Up or Down

My mom and I just booked Symphony for a similar itinerary next summer. I was concerned that she booked it much to quickly (which she did) not giving me a chance to research. Thank you for all your ideas and thoughts. I feel much better about our adventure next summer and am starting to get very excited. -
When can you start using the Cruise Planner?
luv2sailAgain replied to Surfguyxxx's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I booked quite a bit for my June 2022 Ovation sailing during the Black Friday sale last year. If I am remembering correctly, I had a few things booked a month or so prior to Black Friday. -
Reserving North Star/iFly
luv2sailAgain replied to luv2sailAgain's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thanks! I read your great report, so I am not getting my hopes up. I will say that I would rather be disappointed that it is not operating rather than being stuck in the NorthStar high above the ship. -
Reserving North Star/iFly

Good information! Thank you!! Do I look in the Activities section, the Daily Planner, or somewhere else to book them? TIA -
(This is a big IF) Should the North Star or iFly be available to book on Ovation next week, where exactly on the app would I find the place to book them? I saw a greyed out button for specialty restaurants that I assume will become active when access to the ship wifi is active. But I don't see the same for the activities.

Good to know! I will be checking out my water order ONE week from today! I was wondering about water in cans.
