  1. Worked on some things. I’m VPNed now. Witch craft. 😆
  2. 3 pages and 2 adult beverages. It’s getting real. Thanks for joining me.
  3. Work is crazy right now. I just called it with two early deadlines in the morning. I saw this and felt it true. Average people don’t understand how much I work on a ship or at the airport or wherever else. My kids’ friends and their parents just see me traveling more than normal. I have monthly and yearly goals… all instituted by myself. I have a ten year plan, to be doing what I do but from Bimini or St. Maarten after my kids graduate. I was a stay at home mom before Covid for 8 years. I say all this to gain clarity for those that sail and work. Last year it was more prevalent with better deals. I get guilted a lot with how much I travel. My flight attendant friend gets the same hassle. It is what it is… steps down and has a white claw. Good night y’all. Check in for flights is… early. 😉
  4. I know, right?! And we’ve cruises together. 😆
  5. I’m in the cheap seats… look for them in the suites. 😆😆 but thank you!
  6. I like a package deal. Seeing that round number and getting it paid for is gratifying. Love not having to worry about the pages of charges as we sadly leave the ship.
  7. Little known fact about me: I don’t trust the cloud… or really any back up device. I just had a “Come to Jesus” meeting with my storage and it didn’t go well. I converted 5000 pictures to my computer so I feel better. I checked them several times to make sure they are there before I deleted. My anxiety is threw the roof. Hopefully, it’s all good now.
  8. We have put in upgrade offers. We booked an interior with the basic all inclusive (wifi, drinks, tips). I would be completely fine with that. But there are a lot of available cabins, so we put in an offer last week for $205 per person for the ultra deluxe veranda, and then I put in $200 per person today for a regular veranda. No big deal either way. We aren’t concierge or Aqua class, but that should be fine for first timers. We do have a La Petit Chef reservation for Sunday. Gotta see what that’s all about.
  9. It will be all good, I’m sure. Most days, I’ll be working. Excited to see the differences. With Carnival, 15 is the challenge. That’s not real life. 😆
  10. Oh I’m sorry you had to cancel but I’m glad you enjoyed the Horizon. Carnival can be a good time.
  11. That’s so weird that I’d be called “the Virgin Voyages lady”… now the drinking part sounds right, LOL. Thanks for following along.
  12. Woke up to my friend, Aris posting all the gym selfies on the Carnival Splendor. He’s always giving me a hard time about not working out on the ships. I “promised” I’d work out this cruise. 😆
  13. I’d really just like to call it a day and drink. 😆 But responsibilities and what not! Hopefully an adult beverage will make an appearance this evening. Fingers crossed.
  14. You should. That’s definitely a “to do” cruise for me. This year’s big cruise is Greece. 2024 looking like Italy and Spain. Maybe 2025 I’ll get to Asia.
  15. Yes, DH suggested I might die. 🙄 But with bartender friends like mine on Carnival… 15 is just a suggestion at this point. 😆
  16. Today is all about sewing up loose ends. My kids had a mean stomach bug the last 4 days, so I definitely feel behind. I just finished my packing. Next, I’ll get some work stuff done, then pack the kids to go to my MILs. Spring is an incredibly busy time in sports for us, but their schedule doesn’t look too bad while we are gone. We leave after chaos and come back to melee. We are flying Spirit. 🙄 I blame the last cruise for that. We drunkenly applied for the Spirit credit card. 🤦🏼‍♀️ DFW to FLL, 5 hour layover, then onto San Juan. I had a hard time deciding where to stay in San Juan. We are branching out and staying closer to Condado. I had a friend in San Juan last week that let us know the umbrellas are back, so we may have to venture over to Old San Juan. We weren’t planning on it, but we will see how it goes. Raices is always tempting for dinner and would it even be a San Juan visit without a Barrachina pina colada?! So many choices.
  17. I’ll definitely get ya ready… minus the packing part. I hate that. 😆
  18. Good morning CC! We are just 2 days away from take off for an amazing 6 night, repositioning cruise on the Celebrity Millie. We will leave EARLY Friday morning, flying to beautiful San Juan and board the ship Saturday from the PanAm pier calling on St. Thomas, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten. Then making our way to Ft. Lauderdale. For those that don’t know me, I’m a long time cruiser, but this is our first Celebrity cruise. In January, we were aboard the Valiant Lady and in December, Carnival Panorama. We enjoy the drinks packages and beach days! Our kids are staying home this cruise, so let the fun begin. Looking forward to Journeying WonderFULL and all it entails. I hope you’ll join me on this new adventure!
