Sorry I should have put I take it the London Pride is on the Qm2 casino bar as it's the only casino that now has a bar.

Approximately £5.12 a pint is a pretty good price when one considers the ambiance.

I'm sailing on QM2 across the pond tomorrow, and want to remove the auto gratuities from my account.

 

Do I have to do this straight away or can it be done at any time before the last night?

 

( That's not to say I won't tip individual crew members, I just prefer it to be my choice of amount and who to tip ) ( Although being British I find the whole concept of tipping uncomfortable )

I will ensure I leave the auto tip on and then for the fantastic service I will no doubt receive , I will leave at least another $300 so the hard working staff will not go without.

This should only cost me another $1000 on the cost of my 26 night trip.

PG Do not have a Butler and I know for a fact the Concierge are not included in the So called Service charge pool:halo:

That sounds amazing, perhaps I should wait for QM2 but she only seems to do it as a two night one way trip and I liked the idea of the 4 nighter.

Was looking forward to see what this was like on our last cruise in May aboard Qm2 only to find its not even HD...so I wonder why they would call it BBC HD:confused:

It was on the website till a few weeks ago, now seems to be gone.

It was $6.50 pp per day.

Oh plus a 15% Tip.

I am bringing my own for our room in December.

The whole drinks thing seems to be up in the air, they used to offer a soda pass for $6.50 PD but can longer see it advertised .

Do you get a choice of what beer is available as last time on a short trip it was only Heineken in the fridge so we didn't ask.

This time it's for 26 days so would like a choice...Also do they replenish beer and soft drinks.

They have a shuttle bus, and is only for those people doing the B2B, and runs once (about7.30am) from the ship to Macy's and then back again at about 4pm. Cost is about$50 each return.

About 8 weeks before departure. We regularly book a certain grade of cabin and this time had booked one grade down because we have some very expensive travels ahead for a special anniversay later this year, so whether this influenced the offer I have no idea.

 

In general we have been very lucky with upgrades from Cunard and had lots.

I didn't. They contacted me and offered the upgrade at an extremely favourable, non-negotiable rate. I jumped at it!

Cunard, and P&O as well apparently, are now offering upgrades at bargain prices, rather than upgrading for free. We were offered such an upgrade recently at a VERY attractive price, which we snapped up.

Can I ask how far in advance of the cruise did you ask them?

No, they still do it. $8.50 + 15% per day.
