You cannot take non-commercially bottled water off the ship into Australia and NZ.

Can anyone please tell me the brand of resistance tubes with handles that are used in the gym on Solstice? DH wants to use them.
thanks

I haven't asked Celebrity and I have no idea what it is. We do not have any dates of importance, perks or TA add-ons but it has been on our account for both our cruises.

I noticed that my TA group was cc'd in one the Move-Up offer email.

We were on Silhouette last August and we were scheduled to dock at one location in Dublin but only when approaching the port, it was obvious the location had changed. The taxis and tour operators were on the ball and all turned up at the right place.
Originally, no free shuttles were to be offered, but as the new berth was further out, the shuttles were free.
Plenty of taxis were lined up (both pre-booked and vacant).

Our Move-Up offer came in this morning.
We are in a C3 on Solstice 29 Mar from Auckland.
We do not have any included perks. Gratuities are included in the fare as it is an Australian booking.
Celebrity would not even honour the Captains Club benefit of a complimentary upgrade in Concierge class saying our booking was not eligible 😞
Move-up Offers:
Royal Suite from $3110 AUD pp
Celebrity Suite from $1840 AUD pp
Sky Suite from $1130 AUD pp
Aqua from $210 AUD pp
I'm not sure whether to take up the Sky Suite offer or stick with what we have.

I tried to get a C2 for the price of a C3 and Celebrity told my TA that an upgrade was not available as the price was already discounted and no other benefits would apply. This was a booking made in Australia for a NZ to Australia cruise.

Pizzalady1 and LillianMC,
thank you for that. I certainly have a lot more research to do at this stage.

Do any of the Australian CC contributors get offers/reductions/OBC from their TA's above and beyond what the cruise line advertises?

Do you need to purchase a Visa for every port/time you get off the ship in Cuba?

Sailed in the Silhouette in August this year (first Celebrity cruise). We did not find the MDR meals drawn out and enjoyed our table for 2. We dined fairly early and I think our servers fed us quite quickly (but not at a rushed pace) so they could sit others after us (and that suited us perfectly). We also visited the buffet when the menus in the MDR did not suit us. Some meals (such as grills and stir fries) are made fresh in front of you and were delish :).
We did not visit any speciality venues and certainly did not feel that we missed out on anything.

You can ask for a jug of iced water. Our lovely attendant replenished this twice daily.
-
Our option has been to order online with Australia Post (they actually use Travelex and have no commission either). Pick up in a few days at the Post Office of your choice. That way you can have it in your hands before starting off on your travels.

Do the speciality venues cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Thanks for the quick response
Cheers

There were numerous announcements on our Celebrity cruise when we arrived at each port reminding us of the restrictions on what can't be taken off the ship. Australia and NZ are very cautious when it comes to bringing food etc into the country. You may even see sniffer dogs (and they not just checking for food - wink, wink) at the gangway.
