Yes it can be done. When I travel with my sister in the same cabin we each register a different credit card to our ship cards. That way, whatever we each charge to our room will go on our individual credit cards.

Cunard used the Frontenac when we had them book our pre-cruise stay several years ago.

What time is the QE expected to arrive? I would like to watch.

What sort of transportation did you use to get to LGA?
Thanks
Jack
Cunard transfer 2 times, Dial 7 car service 3 times, taxi 1 time- got a bad driver who took us for a ride to pad his payment, limo service 2 times that were waiting at the pier looking for fares. Many choices. Could also use Uber or Lyft

Another issue is size. My father rented on the QM2 once. The ship had limited formal wear in his size as he is a tall man so it didn’t fit as well as it should. However when my father rented on board he was given a tie and a cumberbund in Cunard red.

Depending on how much time you get, Nearby is the USS Iowa battleship, the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, ferries to Catalina Island, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and the Aquarium of the Pacific.

I was watching a vlog of a recent QM2 cruise in February. The individuals were discussing how Cunard’s informal nights were similar to other cruise lines formal nights. The individuals were wearing collared shirts, dress sweaters and blazers for the informal night.
However as I was watching the video, I could see other guests not in compliance with the dress code. One table had an individual wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt . Another table showed a gentleman wearing a sweater but no collared shirt.

Hi Jack. If you are self disembarking you should be able to make the 11 as it is a Sunday (barring any special events that might make traffic worse) When we have Cunard make our reservations to fly out of LGA to O’Hare they always choose the 1:00 flight. We end up waiting hours in the Airline club .

I’ve done this cruise several times and it has always been the original locks.

Re: Internet. Has anyone found that using the ship's computers, rather than your own smart phone or lap top, had faster internet. Or is it basically the same speed regardless of the device?
I have used the ship’s computers and did not notice any difference in comparison to using my own devices.

We boarded today. Our boarding time was 2:20 pm. We got here from the airport at 12:30. I asked a Holland employee about boarding earlier. He said no problem and we are in our cabin at 1:30pm.

You can take the rapid transit train to Vancouver airport. It is called the Canada Line. http://thecanadaline.com/ It is only a couple of blocks from the cruise terminal. It runs fairly continuously and is very convenient. Our group used this option and found it very efficient.

We were on board for my father’s birthday in 2016. We didn’t tell any of the servers that it was his birthday. However he did get a piece of cake with a candle brought to the table with a bunch of the servers to sing happy birthday. So somebody knew.

I know that it can be dependent on the ship, but generally when does disembarkation start and what is usually the latest for disembarking.

We also booked a non-Cunard cruise to make up for our cancelled November 21 Caribbean cruise. Booked a California Coastal cruise on another line. We still have our July 4th Cunard cruise scheduled. We may also book a QM2 cruise to the Caribbean at the end of March if she ever gets back to the US.

Thank you kazu.

I am rather new to HAL and have these included perks for my current booking. Do I have to do anything special regarding the drink package and WiFi to activate these benefits? Also, how do I know the cost of free drinks that are included in my package. I don’t see that listed anywhere. Thanks for any help.

Do you know if you can work out in the exercise room without a mask or do you have to wear one?
-
Have a great cruise! If possible would you be able to post the disembarkation times for your cruise? Thanks.

Ditto ☹️ But not surprised.

I don't think we've ever been able to cover off two unseen locations with a single photo before on this thread, but this photo (public domain from wikimedia commons) might just do the trick.
Our QE voyage in 2019 did not go to the unseen port in this photo, but we did pass through the unseen cruise-by location off in the distance, on our way between two other Cunard ports that we have already seen.
That’s definitely Homer Alaska. I recognize the “spit” as it is known by the locals. I have been there too many times to count; visit AK every summer.

On board. Result arrived a few seconds before we were asked if we had received them. Boarding was quick and painless.
Congrats!!! Have a great time.
Friday 1st July QM2 sailing now masks are required indoors .

The letter in my opinion is vague. It states “we now ask you to wear “ a mask in all public venues ; it doesn’t state we require you to wear a mask. The wording used can be interpreted differently.
