Does trading the Mini Bar include the soft drinks, beer and water or just the liquor.

Two memories of Jamaica stand out. One was on a Princess sponsored tour of Jamican Gardens our group was approached numerous times by persons trying to sell us drugs. You could not go to the restroom without being offered drugs. Number two was the two ladies being charged $22 for a two block cab ride. They panicked after being swarmed by vendors and jumped into the cab for safety. The police said they should have negotiated the fare so there was nothing they could do. Glad to hear Jamaica is dropped.

Here is a vote for Alfredo's. Grab a nice salad at the International Café then have a good Pizza in a quiet atmosphere.

Did the gift shops have any inaugural merchandise, t-shirts, hats etc ? Also did they have the seven inch ship model. Lately Princess has had pretty much merchandise generic to all ships.

Port schedule still showing 3:30am arrival. Have you heard anything different ?

Just off the Grand. Had no problems with smokers. Did not witness any violations. Only a couple of areas allow smoking. One is the Casino the other is one side of Lido deck 14 just outside the Horizon Court. The Casino designates one night "non smoking" but the smell of smoke is still strong. Have an enjoyable cruise.

Any Janet Evanovich. Stuart Woods, James Patterson or John Sanford. I have become a real Evanovich Fan. On our cruise on the Grand last October I happened to pick up the first Stephanie Plum series and am now half way through number 16. Being a senior I enjoy relaxing and reading on our cruises. :):)

If you ask people in Bermuda of all the ships that called there what was their favorite they will usually say "Nordic Prince"!

Thank You so much (Vickie/Bernie) for the great hotel info. I have made my list and will start checking your recommendations. We are sailing on X in Sept from Ballentine (sp) pier and I know where ever we stay we will have to take a cab. What kind of weather should we expect in late September ? Again, thanks for all the help !

We sailed on the Fairsky in 1986. This was our 3rd cruise and our first 10 day and our our first trip to LA. The Captain was Cesare Ditel and the Cruise Director was Janet Edwards. We ran into Janet many more times on different ships over the next few years. Our first cruise was on the Sun Viking so Fairsky was a mega liner to us. Great memories. :)
