I think that they re-provision some of the items at each ports e.g. lettuce. Many of the meats are sealed in the air tight vacuum bags that often have an extended refrigeration life. However they do it they do a great job. They are still serving (at least in Retreat) Raspberries, Strawberries, blueberries, water Mellon etc. Raspberries have a very short shelf life. I was told that once Edge settles into the Australia / New Zealand series they will have a regular flow and products and will be bringing aboard Australian beers to support the drinking habits of the Australian. Somethings are showing up which surprises me, to have taken so long. e.g. Raw Sugar Crystals. I noticed they had it in Al Bacio for the first time yesterday but in OVC the put out a bowl and a spoon instead of individual packets. When our butler noticed the extra sachet on the cocktail table - The morning he had the packets in our sugar bowl with Iain's tea service.

Retraction.... Iain just said the lamb really wasn't very good. He said it was a bit tough and undercooked. I did remind him that Kumar told him Medium Rare is more like Rare and that Medium would be between what traditional Rare and Medium. I told him he should have had the lobster and he said I didn't like all the other things with it. Being the gentleman I am I replied.... this is Burger King you can have it your way... just tell him you want just the Lobster with some drawn butter..... Ohhhhh yea he replied you know as a good Scotsman I don't like to bend the rules.

It was a knock out.... I had a hard time trying to figure what I wanted. The next table said they were spying to help select and ended up ordering multiple entrees also. Baked Alaska of course and a Chocolate thingy with Caramelized Bananas We all chose Vanilla Ice Cream with shaved chocolate (Special Request).

Last night was the 3rd Chic Night --- With so many Chic Nights the formality is starting to be relaxed. David and Robert did tart it up a bit. Robert shot this terrible picture of me hard at work. I couldn't find the email for our car rental. We know I had it because I showed it to Robert and he thought I sent him a copy of it but couldn't find it either. Finally went back to the room and used my PC. Must have gotten deleted as it was in Achieves.

I believe if you booked with Celebrity you can select bedding preference if with an agent you can request them to do it for you. You really don't need to do anything. My experience has been the beds are connected by default and if you want single just mention to your Stateroom attendant and he will separate them during evening turn down service.

Our next cruise has Abraham Hicks guests on board
Jim_Iain replied to gordylad's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We were on a post covid cruise with AH group. It was a weird cruise on many levels One was that embarkation coincided with the SouthWest Airline Melt down and 50% of the guests mostly AH members missed the ship and due to Covid protocol were not allowed download boarding. There were only 300 total passengers on Equinox. I'm guessing 1/2 were AH. They had 1/2 of the upstairs MD reserved exclusively for them at dinner time. They would all meet in the Wine Cellar Bar. I don't want to disparage them but they were like members of a 70's commune trying to find the meaning of life and the laws of attraction. They were not disruptive but would show up in huge groups (Huge meaning 1/2 of the 300 aboard. They also had the theater blocked off for them at certain times and sometimes other venues were for their exclusive use.
