  1. It will mean something to me & my wife when we get there in 2 more cruises… extra drinks, extra internet, bogo specialty dining, etc. We rarely need special assistance but we’ve had the DL concierge help us out on the rare occasion we have. Once, in fact, was a last minute table for 2 on lobster night in the MDR when our plans changed & she got us seated immediately. To each his own. I feel appreciated.
  2. Yes. Whether yours had any mistakes made in the process is a different story.
  3. Everything on the ship is carb free in my book. Maybe that's why I gain 10 lbs. on a 7-night cruise. 🤷‍♀️
  4. This isn't even a new class but neither was Wonder and some of the stuff I saw on its inaugural/first revenue/don't care what you call it sailing seemed worth a small premium to me... and I'm very frugal. Thanks for the input though. I won't know how expensive it is unless I have a cabin put on hold for me. We'll obviously decide whether it's worth it to us after that.
  5. Same here. Good stuff. Next Kraken drink I want to try is a Kraken mojito.
  6. Yeah, that's exactly why I asked about CK. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks, we had an issue with adult comedy reservations last year (the wonderful app decided to change them on its own, lol) and the concierge said he would walk us into the show if he had to.
  8. Mrs. Mike said have him put a hold on it... and make it a B2B if he can. 🤣 😍 We're a week away from our 21st anniversary and she still surprises me sometimes. Off to e-mail my "guy" now and see what he says.
  9. Thanks, I know the meals won't last 2 hours, that's just what the IT system seems to block out for them.
  10. Thanks but that wasn't really my question. I'm familiar with that part. We plan to make CK reservations for 6pm every night... with all our booked shows being 8:00 or later. However, there is one particular night we want to eat a bit later (7pm) and I have a show reserved at 8:30pm (but it's a duplicate that I could easily cancel, I just booked duplicates for shows that I could for "just in case" scenarios). If an 8:30 show reservation would block me making a 7pm CK reservation, I would just cancel the show ahead of time. Hopefully someone can answer my original question. I like to keep things as simple as possible when e-mailing the suite concierge pre-cruise.
  11. Icon doesn't interest me and I only sail from PC anyway. Utopia itself doesn't particularly excite me over any other Oasis class ship, but I think going on an inaugural sailing would be new and exciting, so since it's sailing from PC, I can't help but be interested.
  12. That's me at home. I go out of my way to try other stuff while cruising since I'm not actually a big drinker at home. Funny how that changes when I have 4-6 D vouchers to use up per day (my wife isn't a big drinker so I usually get 1-2 of hers). And when we're in a GS in 11 days (we are not normally suite people) and I have the open bar happy hour plus beer/wine/seltzer from 11-11... oh boy. 🤣
  13. Had to look it up... Vodka, rum, gin, midori, sour mix, sprite. So I guess it's a bit tamer, but hey, it still has 4 liquors, lol. I know there's something called a Tokyo Tea that also includes midori and is similar.
  14. Have you tried "The Pitch" from Playmakers? It's a modified Long Island using midori and sprite. A bit sweeter than a Long Island but obviously still a pretty strong drink. Funky green color too...
  15. When you make a CK dinner reservation (ahead of time via Suite Concierge though I doubt that matters), does it go into the system as a 2-hour block that can't conflict with anything else you may have booked (a show) like specialty dining would?
  16. 4-nights on Allure next summer starts at like $600pp? I'm going to downgrade the likelihood of booking Utopia from slim to slimmer.
  17. BBC is a Banana Baileys Colada, yummy frozen drink.
  18. Only as of like 4 weeks ago when I finally realized, "crap, prices online from PC are terrible and my days of booking last minute are over, I better find another way to get better rates and book much further out." 🤣 I haven't met him in person but he's actually local, not that it matters.
  19. I could but I don't really see us going. It would be cool to do an inaugural sailing based on what I've seen from others but I think my frugality would win out. I'm also not sure my wife would care as much about it being an inaugural sailing. I'll see what Mrs. Mike says. She's got a lot going on right now.
  20. I'd like to as well by I'm pretty confident my frugality (no need to use the c-word, lol) will definitely win out, and I'd only be booking an interior. I'm also pretty confident that Utopia will be released sometime in the June 4-11 range while I'm on Wonder and not sitting here paying attention like most days.
  21. I'm saving it for Utopia to be released and then I'll figure out how to get the $129 GGG price from Indy's 4-nighters last fall applied. 😁
  22. https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/coco-cay-port-392 Change to other ports as needed.
  23. When you see prices for just about anything going down at PC, let me know.
