Doing both would be a great tour, but I think you'd need a couple of more hours in port to be able to take it in.
I'd suggest, Dzibanche, probably a better example of Mayan culture than either Chacchobben or Kohunlich. You can climb the temples at Dzibanche, not sure on Kohunlich.
They are still excavating portions and discovering tombs.
Just be prepared for a long day.
Thanks for your quick response, is Dzibanche a farther drive than Chacchobben?

We will be in Costa Maya for 9 hours and we can't do both sites, so my question is which is a better experience? We have been to Chacchoben twice.

Thanks everyone. We want to go to Fort Rob Hill and lighthouse, that involves a transfer each way so I was thinking a daily pass. I do remember a small kiosk exchanging money on our walk to downtown so a little difference in exchanger rate for such a small denomination is OK. With 6 ships in port and only docking from 10-6, thought this was our best adventure having been there several times.

We will be in Victoria Canada in less than 3 weeks and want to take the local bus to the fort. Can I use Us dollars to purchase the all day pass?

Thanks Coral and WisCruiser2

We are on Ruby Princess next month and have around $250 OBC. Can this be used for the daily gratuities?
-
Do you know when it is opening and can you up for a drink without paying an entrance fee?

Thanks all.

Is UBER available in Dublin? Someone on a previous cruise reported that you needed to prebook a taxi from the port to town...any ideas on how to do that?

More please, we are on the July 27 sailing!

Too small to read...but on Brilliance, all the shows revolve around the 2 traditional seating times. Early dining goes to the AFTER dinner show...Late seating goes to the BEFORE dinner show....MTD...it's up to you to eat at a time that works with the show you choose...if you want to see a show at all1
I asked about specific times, 7 and 9, etc. Thanks Ken but the 4 day cruise doesn't match our 12 night cruise and there was no consistency in showtimes (matinee, one show only, etc). If anyone has specific times they have experienced it will help us make our dinner reservations for MTD.

You may still have to wait inline even with a pass as lots of people have passes but the line will be shorter, this won’t help if the car park is full which can be frustrating when people have booked in advance and can’t get in. It may be an option for a private tour or taxi to drop you outside the “grounds”if the car park is closed because it’s busy. I would try and get there before the tour buses do if you can. Yours is the only ship in that day and the English and Welsh schools won’t have broken up so it shouldn’t be too bad.
There is public transport from Inverness to the castle every day, you need the fort William bus for that.
Just checking, you are aware that Urqhuart castle is a ruin? It’s nicely located but is just ruins. If you want to see a castle that’s not in ruins let me know and I can give you suggestions.
I would be interested in your other suggestions for castles or alternative itineraries.

We want to book our dinner reservations on Brilliance of the Seas. Are the show times 7 and 9 PM or 8 and 10 PM or something different? Thanks.

Terminal de Cruceros Quinquela Martin,
Avenida Presidente Ramón San Castillo 13, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires,
Be sure to include the terminal's property number (13), it's a very very long Avenida
I think the driver will have to drop you / your luggage at the port gate / cruise terminal (same thing) & you then take a free port shuttlebus to your ship
JB :)
Thank you so much, it worked perfectly!

We are in Buenos Aires trying to order Uber from hotel to Celebrity Infinity tomorrow. Does anyone know the exact address to enter?

Thank you for your review, gave me several ideas for our upcoming British Isles cruise.

Thank you so much for your review. I used South Excursions previously from Valparaiso with great success so I too booked a tour/transfer for our upcoming (March 2018) disembarkation in San Antonio. Because of your review I have sent an email to SE saying that I am deeply concerned and asked for assurances this will not happen when we get to San Antonio. Thank you!!!

Since there are so many tender ports in SA, what are the accommodations, if any, for Elite/Elite Plus on Celebrity? We are on Infinity. We have several private tours and want to tell the operators if we get priority disembarkation or if we need to push back the start time.

Roma shuttle offers a shared shuttle that's 70 euro for two:
I've used them a couple of times and my parents have as well -- no problems.
And your sister many times!

We are sailing Saturday out of Athens, Greece and just got our room assignment. We are directly across the hall from the laundry room. We are not happy, only 6 cruises with Princess, but certainly hoped we would get a better room. Can anyone tell me what I should expect in terms of noise and how early it starts and how late it goes?

Non-suite cabins get shampoo/conditioner combo plus a bottle of "body wash" is mounted in the shower. The shampoo part of the combo washes my hair OK, but the conditioner part is terrible. I bring a small tube (approx. 4 oz) of conditioner. Works for me. YMMV
There will also be a small round cake of soap at the sink. The steward will give you more if needed.
The shampoo/conditioner bottle is refilled by the steward and never really runs empty.
So no small bottles for steerage, bummer! I hate the stuff in the mounted on the wall dispenser.
-
We haven't sailed Princess recently, we aren't in a suite and are lowly Platinum in a balcony. Does Princess provide shampoo and conditioner and replace when empty? We are on a 14 night Med cruise and I hate to bring my own because of the weight.
-
Does Princess offer wine packages?
-
That's what I went with, 39 euro PP for guided.
Did that include the entry fee to Olympia Sanctuary and museum and how long were you at Olympia?
Subsequent Cuba port exits - how long does it take to get off the ship?
