  1. I have a B2B cruise on the Caribbean Princess and have been to there sanctuary a while back.

Question-Our cruise is a 6 day and 8 day but ours is one booking-can we book the first week for the whole 14days?

I think 5 years ago we had to go up and make reservations each time we arrived at FLL Port[first and second week]

  2. Go to bank and get cash for tips-islands-etc

    confirm all reservations-pre trip hotels-airlines-etc

hold mail/notify credit cards/pay luggage costs before leave

renew medications/recharge all batteries/take extra SD cards

    print boarding passes/luggage tags/itinerary/obc/

    house keys to family/friends/sitter

    set thermostat/clean refrig/trash out/pay monthly bills

    weigh luggage:eek:

  3. You will get a sticker on your cruise card. they have a coca cola mug with straw when you purchase the package. There is a list of mocktails available plus you can request any virgin drink and they will try to make it for you. yes you get free juice-mocktails-any soda-milkshakes at Scoops.:) You can order the drinks anytime and anywhere-just show your cruise card with current sticker on it.

  4. We booked a 14 day B2B cruise as one voyage number and were only given 2 credits per person which Princess told me was the max they can give at a time.

We also were told we can exchange the whole mini bar out for one btl of wine but could not tell me if they would allow me to do the same the second week we arrive in FLL.

We are receiving $250 OBC for my military service.

    We are both Platinum members

We also get 250 minutes each for internet minutes over the 14 day cruise

  5. you need to call DINE when you first get on board-usually offered only once during the cruise-max of 12 attend-the night is selected by the chef and you will meet with the Matre D the day before to go over the rules and allergies you may have-no open toed shoes allowed in kitchen. You wear white lab coat-tour the kitchen and sample approx. 5-7 appetizers with wine-lasts maybe an hour-you can ask the Chef anything after he is done talking. We had a set meal done by the Chef-we had 4 kinds of meats-desserts-wine-appetizers-etc-we felt the costs were well worth and enjoyed the meal above all else offered-MDR/Specialty /etc. You will receive a rose-picture of your group and a Princess Cookbook.

  6. I agree totally! I also have written to the Captain in support of there staff and given small gifts to those who went above and beyond[perfume/cologne/cash/paid for there toiletries while in port- or just needed a little pick me up. etc.

i wish people would be more forgiving-patient-understand mistakes do happen-instead of yelling-threatening the staff-refusing to pay for the tips at the end-not showing up at the last dinner-using ult soda card and other cards when they did not pay for the cards[bought one-used it for two people]-chair hogs-stealing formal pictures/taking pictures of them when staff not looking-etc

  7. Agree 100% with your comments-We prefer talking and meeting with crew members vs. passengers! We have run into too many passengers who have been very rude to there Stewards-Horizon personnel-Internet people-and passenger Src personnel. Too many have the "I am entitled to it all attitude"-break the rules[chair hogs]-elite allowing others who are not using there free laundry-moving ahead in lines because they did know know there was one!-etc.

All crews work very hard and long hours to make us happy and provide memorable times-we need to recognize that and say Thank You-You made our day/cruise-etc.

  8. We also picked our songs to be played[had our daughter sing "AT LAST" in the Adagio with the pianist. We selected the colors of our flowers as well.

You will receive a marriage cert from the Cpt before you leave and the official one will be mailed home in about 7 weeks

We had an Int'l presence with the Italian Captain-Philippine florist-British coord- Russian pianist-American photographer[they tried to take pics out on the deck, but was way too windy!] You will have the chance to see all pics and select what you want.

They also escorted my wife and daughter to the Chapel! I will note in the reception, we had to ourselves, they had four servers with hot trays of everything along with a bar tender for us-it was fantastic!

We decided to have our cake presented in the MDR for dinner-had a standing ovation from the passengers as we came in and we shared the three layer cake with about 25 people-took some to our room and shared the rest with the servers and those who cook behind the scenes.

As we walked through the Atrium to go back to our cabins after dinner, the pianist there requested for us to dance and again we received applause and congratulations for all-it truly was a magical time for us and where ever we went we were greeted congratulations by staff and passengers !!

Forgot to mention when we came to the port in San Juan to embark-as soon as we got in line to go thru security they somehow knew we were the wedding couple and we were escorted into the ship first to meet with the wedding coord as well as the Captain!
