Do you know if you travel B2B do you have to attend the second weeks muster[2011 they told us not to attend].

Will be staying here for 2 days pre cruise and one day afterwards early December-any suggestions on restaurants or activities for the two of us?

I did make reservations at Trulucks for Friday evening-any comments on it-I understand its very nice and upscale? Can I walk there or take a taxi and the costs?

Also looked at the water taxi-worth it for the stops and 3 hours?

Any suggestions for Brkfst/lunch would be appreciated!

When getting food at the Horizon or trident or elsewhere-simply ask for aluminim foil to be placed over your dish to prevent spilling over-or place another dish over it.

We have purchased a number of art pieces the last 10 years because we like it-not for the value or investment. We have done our homework-met with a number of the artists over the years and feel we received a good value on the pieces compared to what they charge on land-plus add in the cost of a new frame and there mark ups and than compare what Princess offers. We probably will never sell anything but have been offered more for our originals with Goddard-Daniel Wall-Eydel-etc.

there will always be those who do not care for Princess Art-much the same as anything else[those who pay for tours-spas-casinos-bingo-alcohol-etc]=its whatever makes you happy and brings memories to you;)

One should purchase Art because they like it not for investment-this they state at every auction. I have purchased numerous paintings over 10 years with Princess Cruises and have no regrets. The selection you chose[Goddard/Behrens/Nakita] are excellent artists and world renown. The art sold by Princess includes the frames remember-look at the costs for frames at home!

Goddard and Behrens have appreciated over the years, and on the average the art we have bought have been sold 30-40% higher on land[remember overhead at Art galleries]. If the Art sold by Princess were not what it was stated-you would have heard it by now and they have been selling for a very long time.

Again-buy it if you like it-remember the cruises you were on and the good times.

As to other art galleries purchaseing art on Board-it happens all the time-I know of two art galleries in California that routinely buy it and resell it

I am staying at the Westin Beach resort in FLL in December 2011[2 days pre cruise and 1 day post cruise].

Can anyone tell me information as to:

taxi Costs/other means of transportation

Costs from Airport to Hotel

Costs from Hotel to Port everglades and approx time to get there.

Costs from Port back to Hotel

area restaurants that are nice, liquor store for wine,

I understand its across from the Beach-would the weather be nice around Dec 1-3rd? I understand it varies year to year.

Are water taxi available close by?

Did anyone like the Hotel/room/views

Thank You for shareing and we are sorry for your loss. My DS and I will be doing the same when the Good Lord calls us-we have made plans with our children this is what we want and we will both go to Sea when the time comes together.

Any good restaurants within walking distance?

Is the Beach free or do you pay for chairs/umbrellas,etc?

I got the Hotel with priceline for $109 plus tax for two nights in Dec 2011.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank You for the feedback-its a tough decision-wish we had more time to site see. Right now its narrowed down to the Ritz/W/Il Lugano/for FLL and Lowes for MIA-it all depends on the airfare and times-we prefer AA airlines which goes directly into MIA.

I will review the mandaran as well.

Questions: We are booked in December for a cruise B2B with Princess-it departs out of FLL. We will arrive 2 days before embarkation and stay a day after we return.

Would you fly into FLL or Miami?

If money were not a problem-where would you stay pre and post cruise?

we are only 2 adults-late 50's-have stayed in the past at 17th street at Amerisuites which we did not care for[liked the Embassy across the street].

My DS loves the beach and to be pampered.-like westin/Ritz/etc.

My flight into MIA will be cheaper but will probably break even with transportation to FLL for the hotel/port.

Looking forward to hearing back ;)
