  1. We enjoy a ballroom/latin dance or two and often do this at quieter times in QR but we also enjoy nights when we can bring our 70s disco to the fore. My son and daughter in law are in their early 40s and they enjoy going on the door to all sorts of music on cruises with Princess and Cunard. They don’t do ballroom/latin. They are the next generation and we should be encouraging them to enjoy the evening entertainment as much as we have.
  2. We recently stayed in 7150 the Aquitania Suite and the snug had a very comfortable double sofa bed which one of our party had. She was very happy with the bed which was made up every evening and put back to a sofa for the day. You will have a fabulous sleep if you use the snug, I’m sure.
  3. I think you will find it very straightforward when you are at Gatwick. Have a great time. We really enjoyed our flight and the cruise couldn’t have been better!!
  4. There were some people who checked in early at the Tui check-ins. So this is possible. At the carousel in Trieste they were concerned that their luggage wouldn’t get to Trieste with them, but it did…
  5. We travelled on the Monday Tui charter flight to Trieste at the beginning of June. We weren’t able to check in on-line and you had to go to the Tui area and look for the Cunard banner. to check in. Everyone was very helpful.
  6. Sorry to disappoint! We are young 60’s , appreciate good dressing but do not get hung up if guests choose to be more casual! Just not too casual and definitely no short shorts in the dining rooms!
  7. We were on QE I September in Grills and there were people wearing short sleeved shorts. I don’t believe it makes a difference, people should be able to wear what shirts they are comfortable in. We like to dress up and DH always wore a shirt and jacket. I always wore a cocktail dress except for Gala night when we both followed the theme.
  8. I have just received the survey and it was very much based on the number of ports visited during a cruise. Some of them were 14 day cruises with 5 ports. Very restrictive! There was no opportunity to give one’s own comments at the end of the survey. Most of the cruise itineraries seemed geared towards someone living in America or Canada
