They were just there over the weekend and I put a hold on two of them. Now the website is not showing any 2025 cruises to Canada/New England. New(ish) to Celebrity. Last one was 2014. Anyone else having issues?

Hi Everyone, New to this flying home to US from Canada after our cruise. Lots of questions! There is a 3hr layover in Newark and a 1 hr 45 min layover. Not sure when we go through customs. When we check in at Quebec City airport or Newark. If Newark, I'll get the 3hr layover flight. Do we need to retrieve our bags? Do we have to go all the way to baggage claim to get them? Not sure how this works. Step by step would be so helpful! Thanks! Sue in Pgh

Thanks for the info....I'll keep looking or just keep watching the Carnival itinerary and book it closer to sailing since we are two years away. I would be going with my elderly mom - she really wants to go back to AK, but if something happened between now and then, it would be better to wait. Spirit is certainly a classic.

I usually sail Princess but found a great itinerary to Alaska with a full day in Victoria to see Butchart Gardens in 2025! But the deposits are almost $400! 1. Do you get that back if you need to cancel before final payment is due? 2. Do they ever run a sale on deposits? I see now there is reduced deposits from $50, but does it only apply to certain cruises?Certainly not this one. I really liked this itinerary, but not used to paying such high deposits, but I'm fine with it if you get it back before cancelling before final payment is due. Also has the Spirit been updated? I love the classy older ships and don't have to sail the brand new ones, but I see the videos of the bathroom that have 70s green tile - or maybe that IS updated 🙂 Thank you, Sue in Pgh

We did RT Princess from Vancouver. If you can swing 12 days, we got mostly full days in Ketchikan, Juneau, - I think this one was 1pm, but we were there until late in the evening 9pm ish. Skagway (before the rockslide) Sitka, Icy Strait Point and a full day in Victoria. We also saw GB National Park, Hubbard Glacier and Endicott Arms, but had to turn around before Dawes Glacier b/c of ice. Great itinerary. We went 1st week in May. It was cold, but the snow on the mountains was beautiful. No snow in port, but needed, coats hats/gloves/scarves. When the sun came out, we took them off. 1/2 sunny days and 1/2 cloudy overcast days, but no full rainy days.

I booked the the wildlife cruise and Fin Island through Princess. It was expensive, but I thought worth it. Not much wildlife, but we did see some and the island was a peaceful getaway after the boat ride. Beautiful scenery on the island and from the boat. Only our excursion was there for lunch. It was so good. So much food and the best salmon chowder. It was a family recipe and you could tell everyone was so happy to have us there. We were Princess's first cruise to AK since before Covid. We went May 2.

First and last time I use one. I'll go through a regular travel agent next time. He was useless. Would never call me back until I posted on his Princess Facebook page that I had called and emailed him multiple times and why didn't he call me back? He got all upset asking, "why did you do that?" I said it was the truth and I figured that would get your attention." And it did, he called me right back. Never once answered his phone in the year + I had him book the cruise. They are sales people. Once they get the sale, they don't want to deal with you again.

We were at the Chihuly two weeks ago...so beautiful. We had sunny day to walk around the Seattle Center as a kick off to our vacation. Highly recommend this.

We just got off of the Royal on Sunday that did the (somewhat) same itinerary. They switched out Prince Rupert for another glacier, but otherwise the same. I took the Princess excursion to Bouchert Gardens but it was too short of a time...I wished I would have known just how large the gardens were. If I win the lottery I'm going back in September for that itinerary and taking a cab to the gardens. 😄 S.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I had never considered gardens in Vancouver. Will have to think about all of the suggestions.

We just got off a 12 day R/T Vancouver that took us to Victoria all day. We saw so many tulips daffodils, azaleas....We'd like to go back the summer of 2023 to see other flowers, but would like more time than the 6/7-10pm most cruise lines offer. Princess isn't offering this itinerary in 2023, but maybe a different cruise line will have a longer visit in Victoria. Thanks!
